i've bought Orijen dog and cat food for the past 7 years, since finding out about it! All of my animals are doing fantastic and the majority of my pack (7 dogs and 5 cats) are older. a few came back with high taurine levels on this last annual exam .. our vet recommended switching to a lesser protein food as most our dogs Are older and don't need such high protein and to help level out the abundance of taurine .. we switched to the Acana to give them the same quality, nutrients and little less protein without compromising their health with a lesser quality food. the transition went Super easy as Acana is made by Orijen .. no digestive upset or set backs and i've got a few dogs and cats that are 16 and 19 years old!!! Love, Love, Love Both Acana and Orijen (dog and cat) food .. i'm certain many of my babies wouldn't still be around and doing So well without it :)

My crew never usually has that much positive reaction when I switch their food. Champion pet food seems like a good company from what I've found so far. They seem a little more on the level than a lot of companies. I had seen this food awhile back, before I started having problems with a few other "natural food brands." I was just a little weirded out at first about the freeze dried livers and whatnot, but I'm over that. As a matter of fact, I'm alternating this with the Champion brand Orijin food as well. Both the Acana and Orijin costs more, but it is better quality ingredients and it is prepared with more care, despite the fact that it is still technically kibble. You may pay more, but you should find them eating less and feeling better. Make sure you take into account the better quality food containing more calories, it's about 500 kcal cup, I believe. Since we got away from the other natural food, we rarely find "vomity surprises" now and Remi, our FIV cat, doesn't get mud butt nearly as much.

I have only had one problem over the past three years that I have dealt with Chewy and it was taken care of immediately and to my complete satisfaction.

Acana is the best dry food available if you care to feed your feline friend healthy and grain free food!
Chewy delivery was really fast and every thing was in good shape !
The price is cheaper than local stores!
My cat loves it ! Her coat is shiny and soft like a rabbit ! They also have sample bags in stores you can buy to see if your cat likes it or not!
My cat is crazy about this food!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DK13 This is one of the highlest rated food on the market
Made in Canada and not USA where the FDA allows moldy vegetables in pet food. This food as fresh meats in it and is better than what is used in the USA.

My three cats started eating Acana right away. I do mix it with their other food. They are very fussy about the shape of their food and will not eat round pellet shaped food--they will throw them on the floor. These are little flat discs and they ate them right up. I haven't noticed and GI problems with the new food, so I guess it agrees with all three of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by felinas A wonderful food with lots of benefits!
I switched to this food after hearing about this being one of the best cat food brands on the market, and it's made a major difference in all my cats. Firstly, all of our cats and fosters love the food. It keeps them fuller for longer so there is less crying for food.
And most importantly, one of my cats used to get horrible acne on her chin and around her mouth even though I didn't use plastic dishes and cleaned them twice a day. Holistic pet shops sold me probiotic, told me to put her on a non-chicken diet... vets told me to use peroxide to clean her chin everyday... Nothing worked and I more or less gave up until after a couple weeks of feeding Acana I noticed her chin completely cleared up! And there's definitely chicken in Acana. The ingredients are just so superior in this food.
