by Tumao My cat not only loves the food but also the box
Last time I ordered four flavors of BBF.
- BFF Tuna & Tilapia Twosome Recipe in Aspic Canned Cat Food;
-BFF Tuna & Shrimp Sweethearts Recipe in Gravy Canned Cat Food;
-BFF Tuna & Salmon Soulmates Recipe in Aspic Canned Cat Food;
-BFF Tuna & Chicken Chuckles Recipe in Aspic Canned Cat Food.
My cat loves all of them. However, I noticed that the texture of the shrimp flavor is different than the other three. The food of shrimp flavor is like porridge, but the other three like cakes. The porridge-like texture causes one problem for my cat: he cannot eat it up. If I fed him with the shrimp one, there would be a lot of food residue left and wasted. The cake-like texture of the other three flavors seems to make it easier for my cat to eat. I reordered the three flavors again and will keep ordering them for my cat in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SnowCat Okay... Their BFF Pouch is Better
I was looking for a pate-style, good quality food for our elderly cat. I have been told that "Aspic" meant pate, so I bought this. Its tuna is pate, but not chicken, so the stringy chicken gave our elderly cat a hard time. Also, the amount of chicken in this can was very small. If I were to feed our cats so much tuna, their BFF Pouch (especially their Tuna & Duck) is much better quality and has lower phosphorus level.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bellaluna05 Lists CARRAGEAN in the ingredients??
I thought all Weruva canned cat food was Carragean free?? I've gotten two other flavors of the BFF line which do not list Carragean and my two boys absolutely Love, although I mix it with an all shredded chicken flavor half and half because so much tuna isn't good for your cat's!! But they love it mixed!! I wanted to try this flavor to see if it had more chicken then the tuna an chicken forever one, because that one barely has any chicken at all, but now after seeing this one lists Carragean, pretty high up on the ingredients list too, I won't buy this one now, No Carragean for my babies!! I'm hoping it's a mistake?? If so please update your ingredient list so I can try this one and compare it to tuna and chicken forever! I will happily change this review to 5 stars once the Carragean is gone!! Thank you!!

My Mom's cats LOVE this stuff, so I thought I'd try it out on my cats. Cracked open a can thinking they'd come running, but after sniffing it, they walked away annoyed. I don't blame them either, this stuff looks gross. And what is aspic anyway? This jelly-like substance is not appealing.

This product is great. I've been feeding it to my cat for about two years. She cleans the dish!! Lots of different flavors of which she loves them all. Her coat is even so much healthier looking.

The Best Friends was originally referred to me by a lady in a Health Food store that said her cat goes crazy for it
So I decided to give it a try and found she was right!
They prefer this over any other canned food and are right on for their weight and amazing shine to their coat not to mention how healthy and active they are after 3 yrs on this brand-recommend highly and would never change back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jeannie Good grain free
My picky eater with allergies likes the sauce the best. The white threads of chicken in center she picks out. Once she sucks out all the juice, I reconstitute with chicken stock to get her to eat the rest. Her skin and fur look great. Now we are tackling pyruvic stones so I am mixing in 250mg Vitamin C with the stock. If you guys can make a renal recipe/ grain free, please let me and my tortie know.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Roketcuse Little light on the chicken, otherwise, cats love it
Our orange cat this past summer had kidney stones removed. Our vet highly advised no more dry food. Previously, we used to feed our cats Blue Buffalo Indoor Health. It took about 5-6 different brands to finally find good wet food our 2 cats wold eat. BFF and Nulo. Since coming across Chewy, we stayed with BFF, not only because it is significantly cheaper than any stores in our area or even though our cats liked Nulo as well, I think our cats liked the texture of BFF better. Nulo was like, ok, dinner. BFF is more like YEAH DINNER!!! The only BFF recipes they don;t like, Tuna & Bonito and Tuna & Talpia. The rest, my cats highly recommend, especially the pumpkin recipe.
