Customer Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Healthful and (apparently) delicious My finicky skinny cat now gets as excited as my fat cat does at feeding time. And after the kibble is gone my fat cat literally licks both dishes clean! I sprinkle the kibbles with warm water - they both seem to love it that way. For a couple of months they'd been eating Hill's SD, treating the fat cat's urinary crystals problem. The vet's assistant had assured me it was safe to feed to both cats. But during that time skinny cat's nose and eyes starting running like faucets. Poor thing! The respiratory virus they'd picked up at the shelter a year ago was suddenly kicking her butt. Puzzling over it I suddenly suspected it was because of the acidifying Hill's SD diet. The urinary crystals problem was cleared up and I switched them both to Buffalo Freedom Indoor Mature. Three days later all the respiratory virus symptoms were gone! I'm so glad to now be feeding much better food to both my sweet kitties. I calculate that feeding them the right amount of this food, at Chewy's prices, I will be spending about the same as I was for lesser quality cat food. I'm hoping that with this better quality food there won't be any more urinary crystals. I just wish there was a healthful, total nutrition kibble for me too. November 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Recent change to this. Our cats (sisters.....age 13+) have grown up eating another brand. Always had vomiting issues with one cat and read this grain-free food has helped others with that. Both cats love this food and, I am happy to say, we have only had 1 incident in the past several months! Very happy! March 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cats love it! I have 7 cats and use a mixture because they are all of different ages. This is the "mature" cat food in the mix and all the cats love it. Used to have one of them that could "sort" out different foods from the mix. I don't have that any more. Keeps them all very satisfied! October 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cats love it. Both my cats love this food. There is harmony in my house!!!! July 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Both cats like it and there's no junk in it I didn't see any digestion problems in the litter box after switching them to 50% this from their old food which had corn as a major ingredient (boo). I love the ingredients (or lack of ingredients) and the cats like it too. November 13, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by I am sure this is good cat food but..... My cat, for whatever reason & who really knows with kitties, did not care for this formula. He even managed to avoid it when mixed with another brand of dry cat food. I will continue to offer it to him with the hope that he may "develop" a taste for it! If not, the food bank will get a rather large bag of Blue Buffalo. November 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Food!!!! The cats love this food and there is nothing left over at the end of the day. Before we used to throw food away because it would get stale after a day or so. Not any more. The only problem for them is when it is gone at the end of the day, they don't get any more until the next day. October 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome! My Hana the little kitten princes is very picky eater. I searched a couple of brand that she can eat. One day, she was looking for my doberman's foods and she started to munch which is same brand same kind of grain free chicken recipe. So I decided that I will get this one for her. Oh, when I feed her, she just loves it and no problem with digesting. Thanks for a wonderful kitty foods!!! October 8, 2015
