Rated 5 out of 5 by Trippg3 No more "Gakking" in the hallway! A great feature...
My sixteen year old, nineteen pound "Maine Coon", "Turtle", is my buddy. A few years ago he started making a "Gakking" (it's the only way I can describe it!) sound and then bring up food in the middle of the hallway.
I brought him to his doctor who gave him a clean bill of health and then prescribed "WD Control" cat food. Okay, jump ahead three months and he still gaks.
So, I read about "Blue Buffalo Healthy Aging" and decided to give it a shot. Okay, now jump ahead with me once again. Well I guess, Turtle and I hit the Bullseye! He has not gakked up his food, anywhere. Believe me I have looked.
So, Turtle and I can mutually agree that this is the best food for his tummy, he's more active, alert and now one year older and I'm wiser... THG3

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gayze Good for Starlings, too
This is going to be a bit of an odd review, I'm sure, but I hope you find it enjoyable. Blue Buffalo is a great brand of pet food, most people who've used it already know that. I actually discovered this particular variety, however, Healthy Aging dry cat formula, when looking for a new dry cat food ... to feed my pet Starlings.
I am a wildlife rehabilitator, and have several Starlings who could not be released back into the wild. As (primarily) insectivores, it's important to find something these birds can eat that has a similar balance of nutrients to what they would find in their wild diet. Quite a bit of research has been done on the nutritional needs of Starlings, and only a few brands of cat and dog food come close to the right balance. After a recent massive-disaster recall of pet foods, several of those brands were eliminated from the listing.
Blue Buffalo came to the rescue. Not only is their Healthy Aging formula wonderful for mature felines -- it's the perfect "bug substitute" for Starlings!
My birds have been on it for several months now and they are doing great. Their feathers look good, they are lively and playful and happy, they're talking up a storm (what? You didn't know that Starlings can talk? Visit YouTube and search "talking Starling" if you don't believe me!) I'm very happy I went with Blue for the Birdies!
Oh, and my kitty loves it, too!

I gave my cats a choice. They have a food bin that is a continuous feeder. So they can stop by any minute of the day and have a nibble. They already had about a third of the bin full of their previous food So I mixed it with the new Blue Buffalo. When I noticed that the bin was getting empty I went to fill it and what did I find, you ask? They had eaten every Blue Buffalo bite and left behind all of the old favorite kibblets!

My 10 year old cat has used several of the Blue Buffalo formulas since our other cat developed food allergies on cheaper brands. When I found a 'Mature ' formula I added a bit to her bowl with the Indoor formula. No worries! She loves it. Her fur is so soft and thick.Running and chasing toys for the first time in years! All after only 3 weeks!

I have an elderly cat that I was feed a good purenia brand. She began loosing weight and her coat looked terrible, I took her to the vet and all blood work was negative for disease or illness. He recommened more nutritious food. I started Blue Buffaloe 6 weeks ago She has put on a little weight her coat looks less scraggly and there are less piles of vomit. My other 3 younger cats are looking great too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by chelseaviolet My 14 yr old Siamese loves this!
My 5 lb cat was never very interested in ANY type of food--but when I put this out for her--she went nuts! I actually had to take this up after she ate 1/2 of her bowl--this usually take her 2 days. After 10 days--her typically dry fur has become silky and she has stopped itching her belly. Highly recommend this food--a little more expensive--but, seriously worth it!!!
