Almost two years ago, I adopted a beautiful, part Maine Coon, Orange tabby. He was about 10. He would only eat dry food. A few months ago, he suddenly dropped a quarter of his body weight. He was diagnosed with diabetes and is on insulin twice daily. I tried to wean him from the dry to the canned prescription food to no avail. I then searched for a wet low carb, no grain food that he would eat. I went through many brands and varieties until I found Blue Buffalo Wilderness Duck Recipe. It is the only food he will eat and he loves it. His blood glucose went from 500+ to 139 presently. He is playful and happy and obviously feels much better. Thank you for making a product that is so healthy for our feline friends. It probably helped to saved this big boy's life.

Have tried endless canned cat food and Lucy would lick some of the juice and leave the rest to dry up and be tossed away. All other canned foods smelled disgusting. Switched her to Blue and she dives into it and will nibble throughout the day. She's only 6 lbs. so one can is a little too much for her. But she easily eats the whole food. Have not had hairball problems and there is less throwing up, which she had from all previous foods -- sensitive stomach.

by Sunny99 Only food diabetic cat will eat
My beautiful adopted cat developed diabetes and is on insulin shots twice daily. He had been fed dry food before I adopted him and it took a while to wean him to wet food. He turned his nose up at the prescription food and since he had lost 3.5 of his 12 pounds, I kept trying to find food that was low in carbs and high in protein that he would eat. Finally, I found Blue Buffalo Wilderness. He won't eat all the varieties but loves the duck. He has regained his weight, is no longer dehydrated and his BG has dropped from over 500 to 174 in 6 weeks. He is playful and is the happy cat he was before.
The food is carefully packaged with clear wrap. One company's food arrived with a box filled with live ants. No such problem with this company. Thank you for your good work.

My cats do well with the duck food. One cat has a skin allergy; she eats it with no bad itching as a result. And the other 2 eat it as well without a problem. It fills them up and makes them happy.
I wish it came in 5.5 oz cans. Might cost less?

I am so glad I found blue buffalo! My older boy was not eating well and throwing up a lot. A friend brought over a can of the duck and my boy went crazy over it.. My girl who will eat just about anything liked it a lot too. So I got online and found Chewy com.
We have now tried 4 flavors of wet blue buffalo and 2 dry. Every one has been a winner. My boy has not thrown up in days. I'm hoping he will put on weight and my girl will lose some.
Before Blue Buffalo I have never been able to get any cat to eat vet recommend healthy food. They are crazy over the BB snacks I have bought also. It feels good to know they are getting nutritious food that is good for them.
I will be taking all the store bought food to the animal shelter, and stocking the panty with Blue Buffalo from here on out!
And the added bonus is no more struggling with bags of food and litter getting it from the grocery store to home since I discovered Chewy com!

Our cat can't get enough of this. He uses his paw to wipe the last bits left on his dish. Then, he licks his paw. Genius! We were shocked when we first saw this.
