Rated 5 out of 5 by My 3 cats LOVE this food The vet recommended grain free to trim down my overweight 10 yr old cat, to avoid diabetes. He loves it, and has been slowly losing weight, gaining energy and isnt heading to the food dish nearly as often as before on other adult food. My other two cats, ages 15 and 7 love it too. All have more energy and are eating less often as well. So less in the litter box, less foul smelling too...I'm thrilled!! May 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Food I do not tend to feed my kittens and older cats dry food but I do leave a bowl out at night as a midnight nibble. I wet the food down with hot water to increase moisture since cats do not have a good thirst mechanism. The kibble did not puff up with fluid!.Instead, it broke down in smaller portions. All fifteen cats loved it! Unusual that one food would cover all of their tastes. May 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great and "Worth the Money" We got a little 8wk old kitten, he was on Purina when we got him. One of the first things we noticed was how bad and foul his BMs smelled. When he went you could smell it all through the house and he was just a little guy. After alot of reading to gain some knowlege about the different cat foods I picked Blue Wilderness for kittens. I slowly switched him over, he loved it and after about 3 weeks we noticed that the awful BM smell was so much better. What a surprised that was. He is now 6 months old, very active, loves to eat and I have added the canned kitten Blue Wilderness to his diet, about 1/3 of a can a day, he loves that too. He is very healthy, his coat is soft and shinny, he is a very happy kitten. I would tell anyone to try this kitten food. So far I have only good things to say about it. Not one of the cheapest but then you get what you pay for. Try it I don't think you will be sorry. I did change him slowly from his old food to the Blue so had no problems when I did it. Rated 4 out of 5 by Must be Delicious !! This is the #1 dry food that I've tried ! My cat Lily LOVES it ! For kittens it's what they need. None of the stuff that they do not need ! Just healthy ingredients , nutritious , to help your kitten grow to be a healthy , grown up cat ! April 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for more than just cats! I made a HUGE order of Orijen, Wellness CORE Kitten, Blue Buffalo Wilderness Kitten and Earthborn Holistic Primitive because not only do I have a young adult cat, I have 6 ferrets that were previously on a raw diet that I couldn't afford any more. Ferrets and cats alike do best when introduced to more than one food as they can, and often will, imprint on their food as they age. If they imprint, they typically wont take to new foods and can starve themselves until the old food is given back. Having more than one food available prevents this, giving you a back up incase there is a recall or one brand is no longer produced, or a formula is changed for the worse. Not only does my cat enjoy the blend of different foods, but so do my ferrets. Being that they're all high quality kibbles, my crew is adjusting pretty quickly with very little tummy trouble. Plus it makes for less health troubles down the line for my fur babies! My cat is healthy and active with a coat so glossy and soft it always boggles my vet's mind! November 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product I have 3 fur-babies who are 10 months old so they're still technically kittens :) and they LOVE this food. I used to purchase Science Diet dry kitten food also to give them a little variety and to see which they preferred and hands down they went through the Blue Buffalo way faster. So I've stuck with it since then! I also feed them wet food, which they love but they also definitely love the dry. I hope once they graduate to the adult version they like it as much :) every time they've gone to the vet for checkups I always receive multiple compliments on how healthy they are. I definitely recommend this food, especially from Chewy because it's cheaper than buying it in any store! And enrolling in autoship saves extra money. Chewy is awesome. February 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of our favorites! The cat enjoys a quarter of a cup with wet food daily. April 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Using for a stray kitty in Michigan winter The Humane Society suggests feeding stray cats kitten food because it has more nourishment, so I bought this and some canned food for our stray. He likes it and it doesn't freeze like the wet food so he is always able to eat some in the shelter we made for him. Trying to adopt him but he won't let us touch him least he is eating well and has a place with a pet heating pad to get warm. Just bought another bag of this food. February 23, 2016
