Rated 5 out of 5 by peljak Cat door works very well Installed easily in 15-20 minutes. Took only a few times pushing the cats head through the flipping door in each direction for her to get the hang of it. Perfect size for my 13 lb cat. October 8, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by CatZone Great door for Larger Cats We were VERY pleased with our Cat Mate Door. It is large enough so the cat is not intimidated about walking through, and it was easy to affix to the door. It was also a very good price--a similar door at a large well-known pet store was twice the price and not made nearly as well. One note: We did wind up putting a little Vaseline where the door meets the bottom of the opening so it wouldn't catch and would swing both ways freely. Very happy with our purchase. February 1, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Phil71 Design and screw quality could be improved. First let me state that I am an assembler in a Aircraft plant so am considered an expert in hole drilling and any type of fastener ( screws, rivets etc. ) installation. I did a wall installation and followed the instructions to the letter. The screw recesses in the frames are very thin walled ( 1/16th inch and less ) and can pop loose from the frame with no torque being applied when installing the screws. Two snapped on me so I reinforced the screw recesses with JB weld on the inside of the frames. The enclosed screws that came with the doors I ordered are very soft, the heads sheared off while carefully screwing them in with very little torque, deep pilot holes where predrilled in the wood prior to installing the screws and the heads still sheared off. Removed the broken screws from the wall with Vicegrips. Replaced the screws with a better quality screw that was not so soft. The Door is ok other than those two issues. Recommend that the screw recesses be beefed up on the inside of the frame with something like JB Weld prior to installation of the door. The included screws are junk, get a good quality stainless steel screws and save yourself the headache of the cheap quality screws shearing. October 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Lots of rules as to what you can write. Good produce, terrible, restrictive review guidelines. August 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Paola Great, sturdy door! Great door! I bought it to replace one purchased at a Lowe's. It's quite, especially for my 'noisey' female cat, who comes in like 'gangbusters!' Because it's bigger than the previous one, there was a slight 'relearning' curve for the male (go figure???), but all settled down after a few 'explanations and gentle, forceful 'nudges'! However, unless you are replacing this exact door for exact door, make sure you 'start from scratch' with the installation; you'll have a lot of modifications to do, otherwise. February 17, 2015
