Rated 4 out of 5 by jrlevs possible good addition to sensitive cats' diet rotation
I am on my first case of trying this out, so it's still too soon for a ringing endorsement, but two of my three cats have major problems with just about everything I've tried, and so far so good with this. One has IBD and gets diarrhea at the drop of a hat, and the other is allergic to just about everything and gets little tiny bumps all over his body. I'm into my second week of alternating this with Nature's Instinct limited diet turkey---a proven winner with both of them---and no symptoms at all in both cases. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This is more cost effective and still has a really impressive ingredients panel. There is chicken in it---something they both have had major problems with in the past---but so far no bad effects with this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by baldknobber1880 Surprise! Jitters loves it!
My cat Jitters can be a little picky, so when I bought this food it was a leap of faith because I doubted he would like anything with butternut squash in it. I am pleasantly surprised to report that he loves it! He even prefers it over the Organix I've been rotating it with.
This food doesn't have any rancid cat food odor. It has a lot of gravy, so it's good for kitties who need extra moisture. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I wish it were grain free. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. Don't be scared to buy it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Trinket10 My Cats Love It!!
I'm slowly switching my cats to this brand, because I want them to have different ingredients in their diets and I want them to have organic food as much as possible. I have 5 cats (don't judge me) and even my pickiest one LOVES it. The first time I gave it to them, along with their other food, they dove in and ate it all and left the other food in the bowls. I still have many cans of the other, so they'd better finish it, but they really like the Evanger's. It has a pull tab on top, as well, so it's easy to open. Good food for a good price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rockymouseandtashi Organic food in bpa free can good, but ick-y overall
After searching high and low I finally found an organic cat food in a BPA free can. That all sounded great but the food in actuality had a pretty high "ick" factor. The color, odor and general appearance were unappealing. There was a thick layer of slimey goop on the top of all cans. None of my three cats would eat this. We are donating it to the Humane Society and will not try again.

Even my finicky dry food only cat loves the turkey and squash. The ingredients are all organic so I am pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by cknh477 Looks good!
I appreciate that it is organic and a family-owned and operated pet food cannery in the United States . I would give it a 5 if the cats would dive into it, but they are fussy and getting used to it. The quality reads good and the food looks good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Baby2 Most of my cats do not want it
We previously bought a different flavor of Evanger's pet food (I don't remember the flavor) & they liked it. So we tried this one this time (organic turkey & butternut squash) & most of my cats do not want it at all so the couple that like it will have to eat this for a while!
We will try other flavors of the same brand though in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jenn73 Can't keep enough of this around
I opened my first can of this hoping that my 3 picky cats would like it. I couldn't get it on their plates fast enough. Not only were those 3 dishes completely clean they were fighting over who got to lick the other ones dish. I have never had this happen. I have one that eats much quicker than the others and helps himself to my older cats leftovers (before he is done) the older one just walks away but not this time. He snapped and hissed at him and finally finished his entire plate. Will definitely keep this on the shelf at home for dinner time.
