Rated 4 out of 5 by Whammy You May Want to Add Water
My three normally-unpicky felines just sort of lapped at this a little, then looked up at me forlornly as if to say, "Can't you do better than this?" Then I put the contents into a small mixing bowl, added about 3 to 4 oz. of warm water, and voila'--that did the trick. Now they eat the whole dish. This is a good trick for heavy, pate-type foods, and gets more water into them. It's not kitty crack like BFF or Weruva, but it does the trick at a reasonable price. One warning: it may cause some stinkeroos in the litter box, but after living with my husband for four years, I can certainly deal with that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Eve88 Cat with allergies
My cat has feline hyperesthia syndrome, meaning any kind of itch can trigger some ridiculous behaviors within her. A single flea bite could set her off for months, and her brand of "rolling back syndrome" includes some intense self-mutilation of her own tail.
This is the only food that I have found (and I have tried MANY grain-free foods) that has stopped her episodes. She acts up every once in a while but without this, would be on expensive sedatives and require treatment every day.
Aside from being a lifesaver for my cat, the vet also began remarking on how soft my cat's coat is now that she's been on this food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Juli12 Good for them and they like it too!
I switched my cats from Halo Sopt's Chicken Stew to Evo canned Beef becasue my cats lost too much wieght on Halo (although my big boy needed to lose a few pounds and he looks amazing now#. All four of my cats made the switch easily. I add a touch of warm water and healthy powder (Anitra Frazier's healthy powder that I make myself) to each of their their meals. Their coats are still gorgeous, as was the case on Halo, and they are active and happy. It is cheaper to make the healthy powder yourself, and I highly recommend you add it to your cats' meals. I buy all the ingredients on Amazon and mix it up in big batches for my cats and dogs and store it in the fridge. Here's the recipe: Anitra Frazier's Vita-Mineral Mix
• 1 1/2 cups nutritional yeast powder
• 1/4 cup kelp powder
• 1 cup lecithin granules
• 2 cups wheat bran
• 2 cups calcium lactate powder
Mix together and store in a covered container. Be sure to refrigerate (everything but the lecithin and minerals perishes at room temperature). Add 1 teaspoon of Vita-Mineral Mix to each cat's meal (about 2 teaspoons per cat per day for avg. weight cats).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Glen81 Thicker consistency than other EVO canned food
I like the ingredients of this can very much. After a few weeks eating this product, kitty's fur was lush, soft and shiny. The beef flavor has a thicker consistency than the other cans so for some reason my cat feels like he needs to eat less of it (added bonus = more bang for your bucks).

My 8 year old cat Lucy loves the 95% chicken/turkey. It is too earlier to tell , but if she loves this as much it is a winner also. I think the beef is not as good for her as the poultry, and she seems to like poultry more than beef. This is slightly cheaper than the chicken/turkey. Evo products seem to agree with her. I use the chicken/turkey dry as treats for her and she seems to like it also.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 3orangeTabbymom Had to experiment to get cats to eat!
This cat food has the highest % of meat and few grains and vegetables. That is why I bought it. It therefore has the consistency of Potted Meat. I have to mix some dry food in it to entice my cats to eat. Once they have eaten it, they don't seem as hungry afterwards and go longer in between feedings. ONce you get past the paste, you have a good product!
