Rated 4 out of 5 by LoveMyHealthyCats Carrageenan is *NOT* beneficial to immune system!
The product write up says the following inaccurate misleading thing:
"Contains carrageenan to keep the immune system functioning properly"
Carrageenan is used as a thickener. It's the derivative of a kind of seaweed, and it is widely considered to be a gastrointestinal irritant that causes inflammation and has a depressing effect on the immune system, but it's hard to find canned cat food without it. The other ingredients in EVO seem to be pretty good. The alternatives to using carrageenan that I've seen on the market either are dubious (montmorillonite clay, which theoretically can contain dioxin), or are very expensive cat food.
EVO may very well be a step up from the food you're feeing your cats but the claims that carrageenan is beneficial to the immune system is extremely far-fetched at best.

My 11 year old male cat had terrible dander & was somewhat over weight. Since starting to feed this his skin & coat have improved. He had absolutely no problem adjusting to this food.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KeriF Evo is now owned by Proctor and Gamble
My cats loved this food and so did I - specifically, they were no longer puking, people commented on their fur getting softer, etc - I was happy they were doing so well on it (I would like to give a 5-star rating as a result) until I read that Proctor and Gamble, still not fully committed to ending animal testing, had bought the Evo company. As a result, I will discontinue the use of this food and cannot recommend it to others. 5 star for ingredients/overall product, but a 1 star company produces it now = 3 star rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NotACatPerson My 19 year old cat has super premium fur
I had always fed my cat high-quality grain-free dry food, but when he turned 18, I switched him to the canned EVO 95% Chicken and Turkey. There were other high-end canned foods that seemed great also, but the EVO was much more affordable. I was impressed that within a few months, his fur was noticeably fuller and softer than it had ever been, without even a hint of dandruff. At 19, he eats nothing but the 95% Chicken and Turkey (no treats, no supplements), and he looks fantastic. My husband and I joke that our cat has Super Premium fur.

Our pet store, that carried Ivo, never seemed to have the amount of canned food that I liked to buy at one time. They did carry a lot of the cheaper, less nutritional food, but not the "good stuff." We feed 6 cats and bought a case of food at a time. We were always apprehensive as to wether it would be on the shelf or not when we went to purchase the food. Chewy was the perfect answer: home delivery, dependable, flexible and the right price. Chewy, thanks for being there for our kitties!

This is one of the only canned pate cat foods my senior cats will eat. They love it. After only a couple weeks I noticed their coats were shinier and healthier looking overall.

Rated 1 out of 5 by mazie2 My cats do not like it.
I bought some of the chicken & turkey in the small cans at a local pet store for my two inside cats. They seemed to like it, so I ordered a case of the large cans because it was more economical in the large cans. When I first open a can, one of my inside cats may eat a small amount of it. Neither of my inside cats will eat any that has been refrigerated, even after it has warmed to room temperature. I have two outside cats and they will not even get close to it. They act like it is something to stay away from.

Rated 3 out of 5 by hoove213 Good Product, but.....
Based on the ingredients, i can't argue this is a great product, however neither of my cats will eat it. They are pretty finicky though about canned food, so I don't want to make claims the food is bad, but if you have picky cats, they may not go for it.
