Rated 5 out of 5 by AMAZING I tested the 3lb bag on both of my cats, who have very different feeding styles and preferences. I was hesitant because Halo's wet food doesn't impress my cats...possibly because they smell like over cooked peas. But I am so impressed with this product. I have tried everything from Natures Variety to Blue Buffalo to some obscure brands. Nothing against them, they are great, but this product is the ultimate combination of excellent ingredients, affordability and cat appreciation. Not to mention that it is neither boring nor overly appetizing so my voracious eater doesn't regurgitate and my modest eater doesn't go on strike. The kibble smell appetizing and are shaped like small round disks, light brown to ochre colored. I like the fact that the tuna is lower on the ingredients list, indicating that there is less of it. It is "meal" free and the bag is perfect for storing the food. It is a nice thick plastic bag with a sturdy ziplock closure. Excellent all around. I look forward to trying their other flavors. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product! Right from the first time two of my kitties (the only ones who like dry food), loved this food (must be the fish flavor). It is easy on their stomach, particularly on my 14 year old boy. I hope the formula and flavor does not change because I plan on keep buying it. Thank you Halo, and thank you Chewy for sending the orders so fast! April 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by love it We adopted a new kitty about a month ago. We decide since she was young and our old man just mainly eats wet food we needed a good dry food for her. We had tried some samples from expensive brands that she didn't care for. But we narrow it down to she like fish based foods. I brought this home and she's chowed down her first bowl and continues to eat it. April 13, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by A no dry food cat I have to mix this with canned food, but the cat only likes canned food and I don't think it's balanced enough. April 18, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by seems to be helping I have an older cat that throws up often and have been trying to find food that she may tolerate better. She seems to be doing better with Halo; she's not throwing up as often and may even be gaining weight. So far, so good. March 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Siamese cat doesn't yurk it up I've spent two years narrowing down what my Siamese cat's tummy can handle. Remarkably, he doesn't yurk this up even though he *does* vomit other Halo formulas. He does best on very high protein foods, which doesn't translate to "grain free" or even "high protein"; it means the foods with first ingredients that are carbs don't work for him at all (for cats that includes peas, potatoes, wheat, corn, lentils, etc.) My Siamese cat also consistently doesn't tolerate preserved chicken fat in dry food, despite being fine with chicken in wet foods. Even though this has pea protein, oats, and pearled barley and a carbohydrate level of 32.1%, *and* chicken fat is the eighth ingredient, he doesn't regurgitate it. Note: Dry kibble does require a carbohydrate binder to keep the pieces together. Orijen's carbohydrate level runs at about 18% across the board of all their formulas. December 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kitties love this & solved the stomach issues! My kitty has had recurring vomiting issues and my vet suggested that we switch to sensitive stomach food. I have tried other brands and this is my cats' favorite so far. It is a little more expensive but worth the peace of mind for me and better health for my cat. March 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I tried everything and failed before Spot's Stew I got my cat at age 3 and she has had a stomach issues all her life. She's had numerous workups at the vet with the same conclusion: sensitive digestive tract. So, for a number of years I bought prescription cat food which would work for a few months then the problems came back. Then I'd switch to rice, chicken breast and carrots for a couple of months. That would work awhile and then back to the prescription food. This went on for 4 or 5 years. Then I switched to a different prescription food and it was the same thing all over again. Prescription food for a few months, rice, chicken breast & carrots for a couple of months but I always ended up with a cat in digestive distress. In desperation about 3 years ago I tried Halo Sensitive formula. My cat's now 15 and never been better - no more stomach issues. Wish I'd tried it years ago. June 9, 2015
