Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Feline Multicare Urinary Stress with Chicken Urinary Tract Health Dry Cat Food, 6.35-lb bag

A healthy bladder starts with the right balance of vital nutrients. Excess minerals can encourage the formation of crystals in the urine, which may lead to the creation of bladder stones. They can cause discomfort and lead to more serious problems that require the care of a veterinarian. Stress in the home has been shown to negatively impact bladder health as well. Great tasting Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare dry food was developed by nutritionists and veterinarians to help support your cat's urinary tract health. It contains the right balance of vital nutrients to help improve most lower urinary tract conditions without the need for surgery. This formula can be fed long-term as a way to reduce the recurrence of urinary stones and is ideal for multiple cat households.

Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Feline Multicare Urinary Stress with Chicken Urinary Tract Health Dry Cat Food Customer Reviews

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cats Love This my three cats all love this dry food. No issues with it. It seems to keep them out of the vet's office as well. December 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cats love it Good Product. Cats love it. Helps with UTI issues. December 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by This worked well and Chewy's service has been excellent. On this diet, our cat's issues with urinary crystals have been resolved. It is not clear if we will need to maintain the prescription diet for him, but we now know what will work to dissolve the crystals. He does not prefer the dry food, but he will eat it - as long as we also give him some of the moist along with it. The one down side is the cost, though happily Chewy's price is less than the vets, especially since we've purchased sufficient quantity each time to obtain free shipping. Chewy's customer service has been great, helping with prescription refills and answering my questions. March 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by So Far So Good My one-year-old female cat had recurrent bouts of cystitis, which turned out to be idiopathic (no infection, no known cause). My vet recommended this food, which I now feed exclusively, both dry and canned. The cat has been on it for several months now and has had no bouts of cystitis since she started it. My other cats eat it, too, so that I don't have to feed then separately. They all like it just fine and are doing well with it. It gets a little pricy for three cats, but it's less expensive and less stressful than repeated trips to the vet for cystitis. February 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Time will tell I changed to this food after my 10 yr old male cat had another bout w/ urinary crystals. He loves this food and I confine him to his own room when he eats it or else the other cat will try to get it. As with any food , time is the best predictor of success. My hope is that this newest formula will keep him healthy and out of the Vet;s office. It is more expensive but if it works, it is sure worth it. February 10, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good but expensive. My cats love it but it's not inexpensive. Hard to gauge how effective it is since our cat was also given an antibiotic twice - once orally and a shot the second time. This is the second brand of uti food we've tried. $48 for a bag is high. February 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Shika thoroughly enjoys his new food; even the other two cats do as well. There was no gradual change-over from his prior food to this. The convenience of buying this through Chewy was very customer friendly and speedy. In speaking to the customer relations folks in walking us through what we needed to do was excellent. Thank you. Rated 5 out of 5 by good food My cat suffers from cystitis. We spent lots of time and money at the vet. This food helps keep the inflammation down. If she eats one bite of something else, she flares up. She loves the dry and actually eats it better than her previous food. January 2, 2015
