A healthy bladder starts with the right balance of vital nutrients. Excess minerals can encourage the formation of crystals in the urine, which may lead to the creation of bladder stones. They can cause discomfort and lead to more serious problems that require the care of a veterinarian. Great tasting Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare canned food was developed by nutritionists and veterinarians to help support your cat's urinary tract health. It contains the right balance of vital nutrients to help improve most lower urinary tract conditions without the need for surgery. This formula can be fed long-term as a way to reduce the recurrence of urinary stones and is ideal for multiple cat households.

My cats really like the new formula! Sadly both my boys had bladder surgery last year and I have had a hard time finding a prescription food they would eat. Finally I found one that they seem to love! September 30, 2014
Much improved The overall quality and like ability it believe is much better than the old regular C/D can food! My cats all eat this better than the other! September 11, 2014
Finicky kitty loves it! We have tried nearly every type of urinary health cat food since our kitty was diagnosed with urinary issues and he snubbed them all. He actually whines for this food and devours it immediately so it's quite a nice change. Please please please make this food forever! October 25, 2014
Finicky felines ate some of it, at least! My felines are like most humans. They hate the taste of "healthy" food. I've wasted so much $ over the years trying to convert them, but alas, they just won't eat the healthy stuff. This product was prescribed by my vet after one of my girls needed bladder surgery. She'll at least take a few bites, which is more than usual for these specialty foods. But she won't eat enough to make a difference, unfortunately. They (and we) like what tastes good, and apparently healthy feline food tastes like healthy human food. Bland. :( October 25, 2014
Finally a safe Fish Dinner for the Crystal Prone Cat I've had such a tough time getting Amigo to eat prescription food to prevent future crystals. He loves this, and it's no longer a challenge getting him to eat. October 17, 2014
Happy Cat! Our cat, Chip, has had 3 blockages within a year. Each time, I've told my children to say goodbye, but he manages to pull through. Our vet doesn't know why he gets these blockages (its not crystals or UTIs), so she thinks its from "stress" and recommended we use this brand of food. Chip doesn't seem to like the pate version, and now that we have this chunky food, he won't even touch the pate when it's served. I hope Chewy never runs out! October 7, 2014
