Product Description

A healthy bladder starts with the right balance of vital nutrients. Excess minerals can encourage the formation of crystals in the urine, which may lead to the creation of bladder stones. They can cause discomfort and lead to more serious problems that require the care of a veterinarian. Stress in the home has been shown to negatively impact bladder health as well. Hill's nutritionists & veterinarians developed Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Feline Stress clinical nutrition specially formulated to support your cat's urinary health while also managing stress. In fact, c/d Multicare is clinically tested nutrition to lower the recurrence of most common urinary signs by 89%.

Customer Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 24 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by This worked well and Chewy's service has been excellent. On this diet, our cat's issues with urinary crystals have been resolved. It is not clear if we will need to maintain the prescription diet for him, but we now know what will work to dissolve the crystals. He does not prefer the dry food, but he will eat it - as long as we also give him some of the moist along with it. The one down side is the cost, though happily Chewy's price is less than the vets, especially since we've purchased sufficient quantity each time to obtain free shipping. Chewy's customer service has been great, helping with prescription refills and answering my questions. March 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by So Far So Good My one-year-old female cat had recurrent bouts of cystitis, which turned out to be idiopathic (no infection, no known cause). My vet recommended this food, which I now feed exclusively, both dry and canned. The cat has been on it for several months now and has had no bouts of cystitis since she started it. My other cats eat it, too, so that I don't have to feed then separately. They all like it just fine and are doing well with it. It gets a little pricy for three cats, but it's less expensive and less stressful than repeated trips to the vet for cystitis. February 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Time will tell I changed to this food after my 10 yr old male cat had another bout w/ urinary crystals. He loves this food and I confine him to his own room when he eats it or else the other cat will try to get it. As with any food , time is the best predictor of success. My hope is that this newest formula will keep him healthy and out of the Vet;s office. It is more expensive but if it works, it is sure worth it. February 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cats Love This my three cats all love this dry food. No issues with it. It seems to keep them out of the vet's office as well. December 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by No nonsense Hill's c/d was recommended by a vet for my cat when she had 3 consecutive years of bad results from urinary tests. Her 3 human housemates and 2 visitors noted an improvement in her behavior within 2 weeks of being on the new diet. (She was more cuddly.) Her next urinary analysis was better too! My vet is great, but is a 17 minute drive from my house, so I wanted to have the food (wet and dry) delivered. I considered several vendors, one of which appeared to offer the products at a lower price, but I selected Chewy. I'm glad I did. June 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by my cats eat this mixed with urinary care dry food my cats have eaten Hill's prescription food for bladder/urinary issues for years; the newer product with additives for stress seems to help them stay calmer. June 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product This food saved our lives. It put an end to the urinary tract problems our cat suffered from. He likes it, but I wish the company would develop some alternative flavors for both the dry and wet food. I am very afraid he will get tired of it. May 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Helped with my cat's UTI problems My cat had urinary tract issues. One vet gave me a prescription for him which was difficult to give him. When my regular vet came back from vacation I had my cat checked out. The vet suggested giving him this dry food to see if it helped. it has been a tremendous turnaround for my cat. He likes the food and doesn't seem to have any issues with vomiting the food back up (had that problem with other cat food). So all I can say is that I will be feeding my cat this food from now on.
