Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Feline Bladder Health Dry Cat Food

Bladder stones are collections of mineral crystals that combine together in the urinary tract. They can cause discomfort and lead to more serious problems that require the care of a veterinarian. Because the food your cat eats plays an important role in his or her overall health and well-being, Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians have developed clinical nutrition especially formulated to help support your cat's bladder health. Cats need the right balance of minerals to maintain good bladder health. Excess minerals can encourage the formation of crystals in the urine, which may lead to the creation of bladder stones.

Key Benefits

  • Controlled levels of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and oxalate to help limit the building blocks of crystals and bladder stones
  • Rich in fish oil - an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids - to help promote healthy skin and a shiny coat
  • Added potassium citrate to help interrupt bladder stone formation
  • Increased levels of vitamin B6 to help decrease oxalate formation
  • Low sodium to maintain normal blood pressure
  • High in antioxidants (Vitamin E and Beta-Carotene) to control cell oxidation and promote a healthy immune system

cats love it Since I started using the dry food my cats have had no problems and they love eating it. The wet food is a different story though. They won't touch that December 2, 2013
Science diet has worked wonders We have three senior black cats, two males and one female. The two males both have experienced bladder infections, leading to accidents in the house. Since we switched all of them to healthy bladder formula there is a big improvement. Our two boys are no longer having pain and infections. Although, our girl has been healthy, she loves the taste and enjoys meal time. Thank you, HAPPY CATS AND THEIR PEOPLE November 27, 2013
A good nutrition product The product is very palatable, digests well, and produces a good solid stoole. November 23, 2013
This product is great for a cat's bladder health. After one of my 3 cats had 2 bladder stones removed the vet recommended that she be fed only Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Feline Bladder Health Dry Cat Food. Now, it's the only food that all of my cats eat. They love it. I'm very happy that it has such good benefits and will hopefully prevent future bladder stones. I would definitely recommend this product to keep your cat's bladder healthy. November 13, 2013
Changed Our Kitty's Life Our sweet cat Harvey was only a year old when he started getting urine and bladder infections, and the constant peeing around the house had us very concerned. He was rarely very interested in his food (we always just bought whatever was on sale, shame on us!). After the third trip to the vet, spending far too much money to clear up infections, he recommended we switch to this food. While we initially had balked at the expense, we saw an immediate increase in Harvey's appetite, the softness of his fur, his overall happiness in demeanor, and --best of all!-- no urine infections! I recently found out that my parents had all of their cats on this food, and they've all lived to be 15-20 years old. It's well worth the extra expense to have a happy and healthy kitty, especially at the price on Chewy, and we've already saved money on vet bills. November 6, 2013
