Customer Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by safe for our cat This is one of only two foods that our cat can keep down. He throws up almost every other type of food immediately. December 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Both of my cats LOVE it!!! About a month ago my oldest cat (8 months old) needed to go to the vet because of some G.I. problems he was having, and a side effect of those problems were a very sensitive skin condition. Since he has started eating this new diet (venison and green pea) both his conditions have greatly improved. My other cat doesn't have any problems but he tries to eat the food anyway. If that's not an indication of how "tasty" the food is then I don't know what would be. I wholeheartedly recommend this product. April 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Our cats love it One of our six cats has allergies and another is very picky. Both of these cats love this food (we got venison and duck). The allergic cat is doing great with this brand. I was happy to see that all six of our cats like this food, so although it's too expensive to feed to everyone, I do sometimes let them all in on it as a treat. also has the best price on this food I could find. Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly what I needed I needed this cat food because my cat continues to have a rash in her ears and mucous coming from her nose. My vet recommended it. At first she wouldn't eat it;however, after mixing it with her regular food, there wasn't a problem. The food has helped with both issues. August 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great item. Saved my cat. My Siamese cat, Anya, developed a condition in which she had problems urinating, Her butt was sanative and licking it just made it worst. After trying several medications with no solution, we had her examined by two vets who ran extensive tests and were mystified. Returning to our vet, she pointed out it might be time to give up. She did suggest that Anya might be allergic to a specific food. We were feeding her chicken. We removed the chicken and began feeding her Hills green pea and venison, both meat and dry. Within a week the urinary issued disappeared. That was two years ago. June 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great cat food This food really helped one of my cats who has a lot of health and allergy problems. She loves it, both the canned and dry. So do my other two cats, who get a different prescription food, but every once in a while sneak some of this. April 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tasty prescription wet food I have a cat with dietary needs that is only able to eat venison and four otherwise healthy cats so unfortunately for them they are stuck eating the prescription food as well. They all much prefer this food over the pricier Royal Canin single protein venison. January 26, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a replacement to hypoallergenic food! My cat was on royal canin's hypoallergenic diet for close to a year for undiagnosed food allergies. She is in kidney failure now and that food was no longer appropriate due to it's extremely high phosphorous level, so I decided to give this a try (the hypoallergenic formula was also venison and pea flavor). After less than a week on this d/d food, my cat has started scratching her chin again and pulling her hair out on her back. I'm assuming it must be the soybean oil since that is a common allergen to cats with food issues. In the true hypoallergenic formulas, they either do not have any soy product or they are hydrolyzed. Too bad this food won't work for my sick cat. January 22, 2015
