Customer Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product Works Great I have a cat who has Very Bad food allergies. He has no problems on this diet. I also feed my other cat this food. They both Love the smell, and taste. The food also has the full nutrients to feed my other cat who doesn't have allergies. Only one problem: watch your cats weight. There are two pictures of "Augustus" (cat w/food allergies). One w/the T-Shirt he had to wear to stop him from chewing himself up & one now on the food :) February 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Prescription diet cat food Our veterinarian ordered Hill's prescription diet d/d for our 11-year old cat because he had been having vomiting and diarrhea, and she believed the single protein source of the food would aid his digestion. He was formerly a 22-lb cat but his weight went down to a slim and trim 17 pounds and he seems to be doing well on the new diet. He likes the taste and eats the dry kibble readily. He did not like the canned d/d diet as well and ate it more reluctantly. May 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by My cat loves this food. My cat loves the food. I am happy that she likes the food, but I think it is very expensive. I wish pet food was made to higher standards in general and at a price that is reasonable. Cats are meat eating animals and I don't understand all of the non-meat fillers. February 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by My cat has IBD and has totally taken to the D/D dry cat food with duck and green pea. Tasty product and my cat has been feeling better since using it. January 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works for cat with pancreatitis My 11 year-old was vomiting constantly and diagnosed with pancreatitis. The vet recommended this food (it is cheaper here on chewy than through our vet's office). At first, my cat didn't seem to like it that much but now he eats it readily, and it has completely cured the vomiting! He does not like the wet food version, unfortunately. October 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product My 10 month old kitten has had digestive problems, food sensitivities, and food allergies his whole life. It had gotten so bad that he developed fecal incontinence. It was horrible. We were back and forth to the vet constantly. After doing a lot of research and talking to our vet, we decided to try Hills d/d duck and pea formula and within 4 days he had completely stopped defecating all over the house. He sleeps less and plays more and has become very affectionate. He even flips over to get his belly rubbed. He NEVER let you touch his belly before. This is the first food (tried 8 others) that he has not only been able to tolerate, but thrive on. Great product! February 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by great product Had to switch dry food for our cat Sheba because of a skin irrition. She won't eat the old brand anymore loves duck & pea November 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The diet is good for cats with sensitive stomachs We have an older cat that was constantly throwing up and once we change her to this food, she stopped. We have two cats and both of them enjoy this food. September 3, 2015
