While we have not yet had the definitive X-ray, it is easy to tell from our cat's look, behavior, and litter box that the Hills Feline Dissolution diet is working effectively to dissolve her large bladder stone.
She enjoys the taste and so we have not had problems with persuading her to eat it.

This is a new prescribed food for my kitty who has develop crystals (stones) for the second time. We are trying this new food in hopes that he does not have to go under the knife. He is super finicky i was afraid he would not like it, but thank goodness he sure does love it, pricey, but it is worth it. I hope this helps him.

My pet seemed to enjoy the kibble. Vet recommended the s/d diet to clear up some struvite and urinary problems. However, the vet also misdiagnosed the reason for urinary incontinence, which in fact is due to tail trauma, tail loss and neurological damage. I noticed on the kibble that Bob's stomach seems to "fill" more than on wet food alone. Not sure what to think of that, but he does eat the food well. The s/d formula is good still, for keeping his urinary tract infection free. More upset about the misdiagnosis from the vet. Pleased with the food but it does seem on the expensive side so I actively seek out discounts from various sites.

My cat was put on this diet, along with the canned version, after we found hundreds of struvite crystals in her bladder. Unfortunately, she did not like the canned food at all and we had to get a refund, which Chewy.com was really, really good about. My cat likes the dry food and has been on it for about a week now. Her symptoms seem to be improving, but we will follow up with her vet in 3 weeks to make sure the crystals have actually dissolved. For now, it seems like this food is working.

I was all for the SD and my cat ate it for about 4-5 days and then would not touch it. Was wondering about a money back guarantee?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mom2Rascal s/d prescription diet
This food seems to be working to rid my cat of the stones he was experiencing. The service was quite prompt in getting the prescription verification/authorization from my vet. Happy with food and Chewy.com
