Rated 4 out of 5 by GrandmaB They like it! When one of my cats had a severe kidney infection, I needed to switch to a more "kidney friendly" food. Since she lives with other cats, it needed to be something they could also eat and something I could afford. I did a lot of research on low phosphorus cat food and found that many of the "over 7" foods from Hill's fit the bill and I didn't have to go to the prescription foods. Since all the cats involved are over 7, this was perfect. They all seem to like the food. They've been eating this for close to a month and they are all doing well with it. May 17, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by HeavensEdgeFarm My Fussy Cats Wouldn't Eat It The consistency of this food would have been ideal for my older cats with missing teeth. It's airy and smooth, with no chunks at all. I recently gave them the chicken version, which they weren't completely crazy about, but did eventually eat. Next I bought this turkey flavor... They didn't act enthusiastic, but did manage to eat a can of it on the first day. After that, not one of the four would touch it again. It doesn't have a pleasing aroma, and my cats preferred to stand around, meowing mournfully, until I threw this out hours later and replaced it with Fussie Cat. April 22, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Mike60 This is not a quality Product Read the labels, they throw everything into this can. Science diet does not have a reputation of making top shelf pet food. The ingredients should tell that. April 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by JoJo Healthy Choice for Senior Cats I've been feeding this food to my senior kitties for years. They love it, and I love that it helps to keep their weight in check. April 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by PettyMcPetface Good texture My senior cat loves Science Diet, especially chicken and turkey entrees. She had been sick but is doing well on this diet. March 29, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Shammy Mixed review I decided to give this one a try, although I have always believed Hills products to be of poor quality, I was talked into giving it a try because of its high nutrient content. Anyway, I've been trying this food for my cat, Poppy. He likes the taste and the litter box is fine. (He's always digested things well and never really had a stinky box.) His fur is fine, sheds quite a bit now but it may be seasonal with the warm weather. I don't care for it, however! It has a VERY Strong smell, not at all pleasant. When I feed him, the whole kitchen smells quite bad. Dear Husband has even commented on it and was unable to eat his own breakfast for the bad smell! It also is, how can I describe, somewhat foamy/airy vs. being a loaf, which just about every other brand I've tried is a firm loaf. It's not easy to scoop out of the can. (Poppy gets ½ can in the morning and the other ½ at night.) Very messy, very stinky. All for the bargain price of about $1.60 per can. I don't think I'll buy it again, just for my personal dislike of the odor and handleability. April 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by ChocolateSmile both kitties love it! I was recommended by my vet to feed my cats senior food and that limits what I can give them and sometimes hard to find something they like. My female can be picky ... my boy eats everything. This turkey flavor she devours and wants more. They both clean their bowls when this is served. The chicken flavor too. January 23, 2016
