Hill's Science Diet Mature Adult Gourmet Turkey Entree Canned Cat Food
He liked it right away!!!
Science Diet was recommended by my vet. I thought I would have to ease it into Meowski's diet, but Nope. He liked it immediately! He likes the dry phood, too. He's even lost the suggested weight. Wish I could say the same...

Cat Loves This!
My cat loves this food. He's stopped throwing up since I switched him from the dry form, has gained a bit of needed weight, energy increased and coat looks great. I should have switched him to canned food years ago.

They love it
I have four cats ranging from 5 to 13 and they love this food. It is very loose and juicy for easy digestion and they never pass by when this is being served.

My Cat Likes It
This food has relatively low protein and phosphorus levels, which my cat needs. As important, she likes it. Many of the other Science Diet offerings are "chunk" style, and my cat will only lick the gravy. Happily, this particular product is minced, so she schmecks it up. Compared to other brands with similar protein and phosphorous levels, the price is reasonable (especially because I purchase it through Chewy).

Good food, but my cats won't eat it
Before ordering a case of this I tried a couple of cans from a local store.
Everyone seemed to like it. True to form now they don't. My cats are older and starting to have kidney issues and this food is very low in phosphorus and lower in protein which is what they need. It's also very moist which is also good. So I would recommend this product if you can convince your cats to eat it.

The smooooooooth taste of gourmet turkey!
Both my senior cats are totally revelling in the lovely flavor and smooth texture of their mature gourmet turkey by Science Diet. I had to switch foods due to a vet suggestion and I'm aware now it's really working! Older cats need the mature version but not necessarily the prescription version.

I decided to give this one a try, although I have always believed Hills products to be of poor quality, I was talked into giving it a try because of its high nutrient content.
Anyway, I've been trying this food for my cat, Poppy. He likes the taste and the litter box is fine. (He's always digested things well and never really had a stinky box.)
His fur is fine, sheds quite a bit now but it may be seasonal with the warm weather.
I don't care for it, however! It has a VERY Strong smell, not at all pleasant. When I feed him, the whole kitchen smells quite bad. Dear Husband has even commented on it and was unable to eat his own breakfast for the bad smell!
It also is, how can I describe, somewhat foamy/airy vs. being a loaf, which just about every other brand I've tried is a firm loaf. It's not easy to scoop out of the can. (Poppy gets ½ can in the morning and the other ½ at night.) Very messy, very stinky. All for the bargain price of about $1.60 per can. I don't think I'll buy it again, just for my personal dislike of the odor and handleability.
