KONG Cloud Collar for Dogs & Cats
It is great for thoracic wounds but not good for extremity wounds
Much more comfortable than the traditional cone of shame but you need to watch you pet closely to make sure they can not reach their wounds. Useless for paw/tail wounds or other extremities because the pet can still reach them. Flexible pets and cats may even be able to reach neutering areas.

Much better than the typical plastic cone.
I recommend this for dogs with shorter snouts. We used it on a chocolate lab. She was able to pretzel herself around and still reach the staples in her back leg.

This collar has been a God send. My dog has ALD. He's 17 years old. I can finally relax, the constant licking and chewing of his paws, has finally come to a halt. No medication has helped. This has! To top it off, he actually likes the collar. It's his pillow everywhere he goes.

Great relief for Dogs allergy's
My little dog suffers greatly from allergy's this time of year. As a result he chews and scratches himself raw. Now that he has the Kong Cloud Collar on he cannot reach the itchy spots, and they are healing nicely.

Mine was defective. But..
This collar is a great idea. And although the receptionist at my vet urged me not to get these types of collars, telling me her dog got fungus on its neck because of it, I went ahead and purchased this, and Kong's other traditional collar.
Unfortunately it was defective and would not stay inflated for more than 5 minutes. Therefore it didn't serve its purpose. Of course I returned it and Chewy was amazing as always about my defective item. So the item was useless to me, HOWEVER, during the 5 minutes it did stay inflated, it seemed so much more comfortable to wear than the other traditional adjustable collar. My dog really seemed not to mind it.
I would have definitely kept it had it not been defective. But unfortunately I cannot really speak for the quality of the product because I don't know if I got a lemon or if they are all like that...
I will still recommend it since you may get one that will stay inflated, and be very happy with it.

I bought this in advance of my girl getting spayed so I haven't used it yet. I like the design better than the cone I used for my other dog. The only issue is it's hard to blow up so I'll have to use a compressor carefully to inflate it.

Works well for my dog
My dog, Sasha, had surgery to remove a few lumps on her stomach and needed an alternative to a Elizabethian collar cone, which just freaks her out. She is very tolerable with the Kong Cloud collar and easily lets me put it on her. My only reason for giving it four stars instead of five is because it is very hard to blow up. Thankfully, we have an air compressor in the garage, which did the trick.
