Rated 4 out of 5 by Lisrose It is great for thoracic wounds but not good for extremity wounds
Much more comfortable than the traditional cone of shame but you need to watch you pet closely to make sure they can not reach their wounds. Useless for paw/tail wounds or other extremities because the pet can still reach them. Flexible pets and cats may even be able to reach neutering areas.

by Angela268 The Kong collar is great!
I bought this product and took it to the vet to put on her after she was spayed. She ihas to wear it for 14 days. So comfy fir her. Much better than a cone. She is able to see and eat without getting frustrated. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by pjwood46 Much better than the typical plastic cone.
I recommend this for dogs with shorter snouts. We used it on a chocolate lab. She was able to pretzel herself around and still reach the staples in her back leg.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pickett Great relief for Dogs allergy's
My little dog suffers greatly from allergy's this time of year. As a result he chews and scratches himself raw. Now that he has the Kong Cloud Collar on he cannot reach the itchy spots, and they are healing nicely.

This collar has been a God send. My dog has ALD. He's 17 years old. I can finally relax, the constant licking and chewing of his paws, has finally come to a halt. No medication has helped. This has! To top it off, he actually likes the collar. It's his pillow everywhere he goes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Finnegan Great replacement for Elizabethean collars
I bought this for my dog who had surgery. He couldn't sleep with the stiff cone one. This one is easy to put on and take off. He now is able to sleep comfortably.

by MAzingrace Directions Dispel Concerns
I hesitated to purchase this product after reading some of the reviews here, but went ahead and did so because my dog was not tolerating the cone shaped collar the vet had dispensed to help heal a lick granuloma on his front leg. Some people said the collar was hard to inflate by mouth, but if you read the directions they clearly state you must squeeze the valve in order to inflate. If you do that, the collar is extremely quick and easy to blow up without an air compressor. Other reviewers wrote that the collar was poorly made and easy to pop, but I found it to be just the opposite. It is finished with a sturdy but plush zippered cover that helps protect it from punctures. Although it is possible for my dog to get to his front legs, in practice wearing the collar will make it too awkward and difficult to lick aimlessly at this area of his body for long if at all. This is a great value - a similar product at my local big box pet store would have cost twice as much. I'm glad I made the purchase and look forward to this area healing soon! One final note - a size L just fits my 72 lb. GSD, so if your large dog has an exceptionally husky neck and tops 80-85 lbs. (or is long legged), you may need to go up to an XL (the directions advise sizing up as well). In addition to fitting a dog's neck properly, the larger the size, the fatter the donut shaped collar which makes it harder for the dog to reach body parts.
