Merrick Purrfect Bistro Grain-Free Chicken A La King Morsels in Gravy Canned Cat Food
My kitty absolutely LOVES this food. It is a chunk formula (as opposed to pate), which he seems to prefer. My holistic veterinarian advised against a 100% meat diet, which I had previously been feeding him. The veggies in this formula definitely seem to have helped his digestion (chronic constipation). Finally, unlike some other canned foods, this one has a pleasant smell. Highly recommend.

My five cats all love this food. It doesn't contain any of the bad ingredients that cheap cat foods do. My one cat has a very sensitive system and can only eat top quality food or she gets the runs. This food works for her with no system upset and the cats love the taste. Great prices here on Chewy.com too!

Merrick products are great!
I have been feeding all my 4 cats Merrick products for over a year now....they all love the dry food...with the wet food they love the Chicken a La King...but the next week they want Chicken Pot Pie....I would say they are spolied...very happy with the ingredients.

All 3 cats like this!
I have 3 cats that range in food finickiness. I've been trying some different grain free canned cat foods lately, and this one is a top pick. All 3 cats took to it right away. I wanted to find something other than a pate, and I think these morsels are just the right size, not too big, not too small, and I like that my cats have something to somewhat chew. Only giving 4 stars as my cats preferred the chicken casserole flavor over this chicken a la king flavor.

The boys love it!
I have always given my cats Spot's Stew be it dry or canned. It appears to be one of the healthiest on the market with no funny by-products. Merrick's also appeared quite as good and so I decided to give it a try just to add some variety for them and they loved it.
I do still feed them primarily Spot's stew and give them Merrick's once in a while to spice things up mainly because Spot's has more veggies and I am under the illusion it is good for them and they don't seem to mind. Sorry if this sounds like a review for Spot's stew, but I wanted to explain why I didn't give it five stars.

My picky cat likes this food but doesn't love it.
I adopted my cat when she was almost 2 yrs. old and until then, she had only eaten dry food. Switching her to canned food was very difficult. It doesn't help that she's extremely picky for a shelter cat. She won't eat beef or salmon if it's the main ingredient. Most canned cat foods are pate, which she reluctantly eats but leaves a lot in the bowl.
Eventually I discovered that she likes chunks of meat in gravy. I'm particular about what I feed her after doing much research on ingredients which cause health problems and terminal illnesses. So I was glad when I saw this new line from Merrick.
My cat likes the Chicken a La King, but not as much as Wellness' cubed canned food. Probably because the Merrick has only a little gravy in it. However, given that there are very few canned foods she will eat, I'll continue to buy this Merrick flavor for her. Plus, the ingredients meet my high standards for approval.

Pipas the cat loves it!
Pipas really enjoyed the flavor, however I think she agrees it should be "a La Queen"....
