Rated 3 out of 5 by Calamity Where's the juice?
Ive been a long time user of the Purrfect Bistro line. My cats eat the Turducken, Grammy's Pot Pie, and Thanksgiving Day best. I am disappointed in the changes to this line. My cats loved the "juicy" consistency, especially the Grammy's Pot Pie. I have always warmed up their food and now there is not even a hint of gravy. I contacted the company and they asked for lot numbers of the cans I purchased. This is not the problem. I have purchased their food online, in the stores, and even in another state with no difference. I am currently trying to find another option, as my cats are disappointed and so am I.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MoniMoon Great Food for the Price!
I bought a couple cases of the Merrick Perfect Bistro flavors with different textures. This one is supposed to be shredded, but it's still kind of loafy, which I'm not a huge fan of. My Maine Coon and Turkish Van both started off loving this food, but then my Turkish Van got tired of it and started leaving more and more of it in the bowl. My tuxedo cat turns up her nose at this. She's the pickiest of the three, though. My Maine Coon still eats this up and seems to really like it, so I'll keep it in his rotation diet. If you have finicky cats, I would buy a can or two before ordering a whole case. Overall, the ingredients are very healthy and this food is priced very well. It could use a little more protein, but I have VERY active kitties. If your cats have a fairly moderate activity level, I would highly recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Katherine101 Was expecting a shredded food
This is much closer to pate. I opened up the can and thought for sure my cats would not touch it. I have one 14 year old cat who won't touch 90% of pate food, and another 13 year old cat who has never ever eaten pate food in his life, and we've had him since he was a kitten. I put it down anyway and was amazed, both of them gobbled it up. So if your cats don't like pate, this may not be the food for them, or they may surprise you like mine did and enjoy it! Nothing to hate about this food other than the way it was marketed, it certainly is not a shredded/minced food. The ingredients are great and my cats are doing well on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MissMoon Kitties LOVE this healthy food!!!
I've been feeding my three kitties two brands of grain free, high protein food for about eight months. This is their "breakfast." They love the other flavors of Merrick Grain Free as well, but I try to stick to fowl, and avoid salmon and beef. They LOVE this and beg for it! Their coats are luxurious and they have become so healthy looking - have lost a little weight on the low carb diet recommended for cats, but are well muscled and full of energy. The other brand we use is Tiki. I read about both these brands on a holostic Vet's website. They are close to what they would be eating in the wild. Your babies will love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SiameseMamaCat Close to making it myself!
Grammy's Pot Pie has a good ratio of fat/protein/carbs/water with about 209 calories a can -perfect for getting my one cat to a healthy weight (while maintaining healthy weight for the other).
Both cats LOVE this food - it keeps them fuller longer than foods full of byproducts and grains - and it even looks like a can of chicken and veggies instead of processed cat mush! My overweight cat has lost 0.4 pounds in the 3 weeks I've had her on this and my other cat is staying at a healthy weight - LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Next best thing to making it myself (which I am SO not going to take on!)
