Rated 5 out of 5 by AngieRD An answer to my prayers for Peanut
My cat peanut was having bloody diarrhea for months until I discovered this food. She had been getting steriod shots every 2 weeks while the vet & I experimented with different foods (i.e. "high fiber", "low residue", etc...). I had just about given up hope for Peanut living a long, happy life. I ordered the L.I.D. Duck & Pea after reading the reviews thinking anything was worth a try at that point. All of her symptoms are completely gone & she has never been healthier. I am so grateful & I am sure peanut is too! My other cats love it too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kali1 improved my 17 year old cat's kidney problems
Amazing, after years of flooding the litter box and periodic blood splatters, my 17 year old cat is back to her prime. Once again dense clumps of urine are to be found in her litter box. She also likes the taste of the moist food. This was a great recommendation from my vet.

by Muffet1 Excellent alternative to expensive RX food
When Casey first came to live with us, his skin was dotted with hot spots. After ruling out other causes, our vet suspected allergies. Casey was put on a limited-ingredient prescription food and thrived. His skin cleared up. However, the food was expensive. The vet said we could try other limited ingredient foods with "novel" proteins, but the cat didn't like the first few. Then we hit on this one. Not only does Casey love it, but so do my other cats. Now, this is the main food in the house, although the non-allergic cats sometimes get others.

Cats like it - but prefer the venison. Mix it with ByNature 95% turkey, Fruitables pumpkin, slippery elm (helps to soothe and heal intestinal irritation) and water for my boy with intestinal issues. It's a little rich for him by itself. One of only 3 foods I have found that don't cause pain and diarrhea. That makes both of us happy! So glad I found Chewy.com. They have the best prices and selection of any site I have found!

Rated 5 out of 5 by akburke12 Great for cats with sensitive tummies.
I have an older cat with a sensitive tummy, anxiety issues, and I suspect some food allergies. She overgrooms and then throws up food and hair. I have had her on this food for about two weeks and she has not thrown up. The food seems to be gentle on her stomach and she likes the taste as well. I previously had her on the Green Pea and Venison Formula of the same brand, and although I did see some improvement, it seemed too rich for her. Green Pea and Duck is the way to go for a sensitive cat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Indigokat Wonderful product!
We have several elderly cats who are in various stages of kidney failure due to their age. They have all been eating the Natural Balance limited ingredient diets for more than 5 years now, and are all doing great. Our other cats liked it so much, we feed it to all of them, too. Thank you, Natural Balance, for making a non-veterinary L.I.D. that cats WANT to eat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Roadrunner48 Product extremely good for sensitive stomachs
My Bengal loves this food and can keep it down. Was using a prescription with same ingredients but it was much more expensive. Switched to this and he hasn't had any problems eating this and keeping it in him. It is nice knowing this product is good for him and he can digest it easily.

My cat really enjoys this food. He's not very fond of poultry, but I'm leery of giving him too much seafood. He liked other Natural Balance products, so I gave this a try. He enjoys it as much as his seafood meals. It's a great pate-like consistency, so it's easy to spoon and easy for him to eat; I don't have to spend time mashing it up.
