Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets Chicken & Green Pea Formula Canned Cat Food
Natural, less expensive than most and grain free makes it perfect for Diabetic or cats with Kidney issues
I have 4 cats of varying ages and needs, the two oldest have opposite needs, one diabetic and hypo thyroidic roams around the house looking for anything he can eat all day and the other has the signs of kidney dysfunction and is under weight and of course picky, picky, picky. Both cats have had almost all of their teeth removed.
It was suggested I try a more expensive, but similar, Grain Free product for them, but they hated it... ALL of them refused to eat it... well not the diabetic but... he'll eat your socks if you let him.
My Russian Blue has to eat one kind of dry food that seems to be the only one that keeps him out of emergency with crystals in his urine... but the other two cannot eat dry because as I said... no teeth... so as you may figure, cat food is a big deal around our house. I need to know that if the Blue gets into the wet food I am not back in emergency with him.
As an Executive with a ridiculously busy schedule, it is hardly good use of my time, making or worrying about cat food day after day.
This is the one product that has met all of our needs. It is expensive but so nutritious they eat less and it actually evens out in the end. They all seem to like it a LOT, yet I like to cover it with one of the select stews by the same company to keep "Mr Picky Eater" eating it all, but it has been an overall "Godsend".
Everyone is eating and it seems everyone is getting what they need out of the product. The Blue actually gets a tiny bit now of his own each day and he is FINE and seems to take it ok, even when he steals more than he should eat.
In just a few weeks "Mr Picky Eater" has put on weight and his coat looks better. Diabetic cat is still a mess but he is just always gonna be a mess until he leaves this planet and at least he isnt getting worse.
I am very happy with this product over all and trust me, we have tried many MANY products over the years.

Healthy and happy cats.
Both my cats share a can of this every morning. I mix in a little water for the older cat who has some kidney issues. They love Natural Balance!

Great for food allergies.
One of 4 cats has food allergies and the LID product from Natural Balance are just what the vet has ordered for my picky eater. Plus the other cats love the taste too.

Cats like it
Changed to using Natural Balance and Halo from Trader Joe's cat food hoping for better nutrition for my cats. Both cats ate the TJs and both are eating this now, no problems in switching. Plus they give you even more food in the cans.
Although my cats do not have any health problems, I use the LID because it is grain-free. Regular Natural Balance is not.

She eats it, doesn't make her allergies worse - win!
The Natural Balance LID foods have almost the same ingredients as the Royal Canin LID foods, but they cost less and come in more flavors. My cat has food allergies, and keeping her on this food has kept them to a minimum.
She doesn't always prefer the Chicken, but overall it's a winner.

my cats love it
I heard from some people theirs cats won't eat it, well that's not our case, my two cats love this food, of course I don't keep food for them all day long, 1/2 a can each in the morning and the same at 5pm, our two males are very healthy and active and if you want to call them in (they have one hour a day outside before feeding) all you have to do is bang the can and they came running from anywhere they are.
