Nature's Logic Chicken Recipe Canned Cat Food
Best Cat Food Ever !
This Is The Finest Cat Food Since The Switch From Grocery Store Food To Natural Healthy Grain Free Food. It has only been a few short weeks since the change and Belle has left me no fur ball, presents. NONE. (She was leaving me 2 or 3 a week). No clumps of hair laying on the carpet. After brushing her there is almost no dead hair left in the brush. Her coat (very long hair) is getting shiny and softer. She has MUCH more energy, and Frequently gives me a "purrrt", and runs into the next room. Yes, the food is more expensive. But, consider this... Bell is THRIVING, not just surviving. Less Vet visits for critical illness's will make a huge difference in vet bills. Belle and I could not be happier with Natures Logic. Give it a try... Please... for the health of your cat. If you don't like it, you can always go back to your old food. Cheers !

A pet food that lives up to its name.
I learned about Nature's Logic after purchasing Susan Thixton's "List of Best Pet Foods" online. I made the switch immediately, and after three weeks my cat's dandruff is completely gone. She eats about 3/4 of a can per day and is very healthy and active (especially for an 11 year old). Her fur is like silk!
Most commercial pet foods contain unnecessary fillers and low quality ingredients which are compromising our pets' health. (Many of these foods are marketed to human tastes, by the way. That makes zero sense to me.) When I first opened a can of Nature's Logic chicken I could immediately see and smell a difference. The meat is very "meaty", it fills the entire can, and there is very little liquid. It doesn't have that strong unpleasant odor (road kill?) that many canned foods do.
I feel great about the ingredients in Nature's Logic and how transparent the company is about where their meat is sourced. The chicken is human-grade and free of hormones and antibiotics. Nothing is in there that doesn't need to be. For me, it's the next best thing to making my own cat food. My cat took to it right away, but if yours is finicky try sprinkling a little nutritional yeast on top. Most cats love the taste.

Great food but...
both of my cats definitely like the NL canned rabbit much better. Will still keep this onhand to offer variety.

Nature's Logic is one of the best foods you can feed your pets (dogs and cats). Love that there are no synthetic vitamins used and even though the per can price seems more expensive than the competition, I only need 7 cans per week to feed my two cats instead of 14 so I save money feeding the best. And they LOVE it, so I never have to worry about left overs going bad.

One of the great foods
I like that Nature's Logic doesn't use synthetic vitamins so I prefer to go with this food in rotation with another kind, and my cats loves it. I have noticed that she gets bored with this kind, so variety is definitely necessary with this. I don't feed this solely because it isn't quite yet approved by AAFCO, since it's still in feeding tests, but we should find out soon about it getting approved. This is definitely a great food, just have to see if they will like it!

I love the ingredients but the cats aren't real impressed
My 3 cats will eat this but not with enthusiasm. If I want them to finish a whole can I often have to mix in something else otherwise after a while I end up having to throw some out. I wish they'd like it, because I really like this company and I wanted to be able to have this as a main part of our rotation. Also, both this and the rabbit (which they like more than the chicken) are rather crumbly. All 3 cats make a big mess when they eat it. I mix it with warm water to make it more moist but crumbles end up flying out of the bowl as they eat so after feeding this brand canned I have a lot of clean up to do. I feed them this on the counter now to make it easier to clean up all the pieces they leave behind (and step on). As much as I like this I'm not sure I'll be buying more of the chicken. Even the rabbit they're losing interest in. I'd still recommend it to others to try simply because it seems like a very very high quality brand.

This cat food is recommended by Susan Thixton on her Annual List of foods she would feed her pets.
Susan Thixton, Truth About Pet Foods, is the pet owner's go-to site for trusted information about the pet food industry. She is on the AAFCO board as a consumer advocate, and there is no one like her. She knows the people in the industry, the good and the bad. Nature's Logic was one of the few canned cat foods she trusts. Just like any healthier food, without the animal digest junk, cats don't always prefer the taste, if they have been used to the lousy stuff, esp. if transitioning from the dry. This has good ingredients and she trusts the company. I have wanted my cats to like this food, esp. my ill one who doesn't eat much. I mix it sometimes and will continue to use this as a rotation food. If I feed a commercial cat food, I want it to be the one of the best, and I believe this is one. As I indicated in a previous review of another food, 4 stars is the best review any commercial cat food will receive from me--none of them, ever, will be perfect.

Great food & good price
After learning about feline nutrition and how bad dry food can be for cats, this was recommend by a lot of experts. Problem was my 4 month old kitten at the time didn't like it much and would eat less than 2 oz. out of a fresh can and would never eat it after it had been refrigerated. Then after I got the same kitten neutered at 7 months old, he became obsessed with food and he eats this like it's his last meal. I have another kitten now and he likes this food too, so they split a can and I never have left-overs to refrigerate.
