Rated 5 out of 5 by iuridan Better litter box design Still Available
I bought several litter boxes that were very similar to this one a couple of years ago. Those boxes were made by Rubbermaid, and were discontinued. I was horrified, since this is one of the best box designs I have come across. The box has high walls to keep in waste and litter. The low front entrance allows easy access to all, from kittens to mobility-impaired older or fatter cats. I am so thrilled to see Nature's Miracle offering this great box, and now with non-stick. I bought a few to replace old and well used Rubbermaid boxes, and to have some spares... The alternative to this litter box is to buy a big plastic tote and cut a door into it. No other litter box has this combination of high walls with a low entrance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sugah Excellent, but not as large as I expected
This is a very nice box. I like that the opening is at the narrow end, so they can look out while doing business.
However, the width is actually only 12 inches inside the box at the litter level. That doesn't give a 20lb cat much room to turn around. I would like the manufacturer to consider making a double wide for phat-cats. hehehe

We've used this style box for years and the ones we have were made by Rubbermaid. One finally developed cracks and we were not able to find a Rubbermaid replacement. Fortunately Chewy had this one and the price was excellent. This style box really helps to keep the litter in for those "high kickers" and yet is open for the many cats who do not like enclosed litter boxes.
Our only gripe is the Chewy sticker that someone thought would be a good idea to slap on the side of the box. It had an adhesive that would not let go and it took some elbow grease to get the thing off. Chewy, please dispense with putting your labels on products. We already love you so the sticker is unnecessary, and irritating.

by Taffydog14 Solves major issues with my orange cat, Rudy, he has "elevator butt"
Now have two of these, all three of my cats like the boxes, as stated have a cat that tends to stand to tall, and my 14 yr old Ms Jinx, has excess weight, health issues and she seems to like the low entry area. I wash all litter pans outside with enzyme cleaner and power nozzle, these are easy to do. Will probably order another with next order!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sango Needs to be white
This is a good litter box and I would say ditto to what others have said who recommend it, but I can't stand dark colored litter boxes. It is hard to tell if they are clean. With the white it is much easier, and if your cat has a urinary track issue, it is much easier to tell if there is any blood in the urine. I have a rescue and having white litter boxes has saved a couple of my cats' lives, because I saw something was wrong very early on. I would be happy to buy more of this litter box if it was white, but not in this color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lbinky high sides prevent messes
It is a good litterbox but the website has 23" as the width and even the manufacturers label on the litterbox states 17.8x22.8x11" but the actual width of the box is only 12-13" depending on where you measure. Needless to say I was disappointed when I received it but not worth sending back.

High sides have stopped urine that used to land beyond the litter box. Also keeps the amount of litter ending up around the box to a minimum. Shiny plastic surface keeps clumps from sticking as much. Good product!
