Rated 5 out of 5 by Ivory21 Best litter box I've had.
I've been using the Nature's Miracle litter box for years. They are one of the few that make a box made for big kitties. This is the first time I've tried the covered corner box. There is plenty of head room for the cats and the cover clicks in pretty firm. The opening is big enough I don't need to remove the cover to scoop. The sides are high so litter doesn't spill out everywhere. It does come out the front when the cats jump out but not a lot. It's a very durable box and cleans easily. I like to rinse it out in between litter changes with a little Lysol and warm water. I've never had a problem with it retaining a smell or getting really scratched up. Highly recommend especially for multiple cat household.

I saw this as a good idea that probably wouldn't live up to the idea, I have 3 cats, all rescues from outdoors, (one is 99 percent feral), so I couldn't see them going into an enclosed space. I was wrong.
The only one who can't use it is the larger cat. It's just not a good fit for a big cat.
Some of the reviews mentioned the odor. It's touted to reduce odor. It does in the sense that it is enclosed, but the charcoal thing isn't going to do much, and the front is open, so you will still have something. That said, it's NOTHING like the typical litter box which sits alongside this.
Also, I was very skeptical about the notion that nothing would stick. The feral one seems to have explosions so I figured not much could be done about it. But, for whatever reason, everything scoops out of this without having to scrub it down the way I do the standard boxes. That alone makes it worth the money for me. In fact, I'm getting another one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Beba Good quality but not for my cat
I have two of these boxes and two of the rectangular design. While I think the corner design is clever and space-saving, I have one cat who stands to pee and she always seems to aim for the exact spot where the handle of the cover meets the bottom half of the box. As such, it leaks and I'm constantly finding urine on the floor. This doesn't happen with the rectangular version as she can climb inside and fully turn around and pee against the back wall where there are no handle joints. I have now moved the two corner boxes out onto the catio and have the rectangular boxes (which are excellent) inside the house. While I recommend this box for most cats, don't expect it not to leak if you have a cat that aims high!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jenny Great for big and long Cats
Our young female cat is turning out to be a very long cat and we had to find a box where she could fit her whole body in. This box is perfect for this. She had problems before pooping outside the box because our old ones were just not long enough for her. This is a great size box and she just loves it. She will even sit in or on top of the box just for fun. I will be buying another one soon. I would recommend this box for anyone who has a large or extra large cat!

by Bantry Great litter box, especially for large cats.
I have three cats, all large, like 15lbs. + size. No they aren't fat, just large. Big boned? Fluffy? Call them what you want but they had a hard time with 'normal' or small size litter boxes. They also prefer enclosed or covered litter boxes so finding large enough boxes is a challenge. Over the past 10 years I have volunteered at several different rescues and shelters, so I am comfortable saying I have seen and/or experienced just about every type of litter box that is out there. From open, closed, powered, even self-made where an opening was cut into a large plastic container.
My cats and I love this box as the opening is one of the largest I've seen and it has a nice depth with plenty of room inside for them to turn around without being hunched over. I like the fact the top clips to the bottom so it can't be knocked askew. I used to have to keep my supply of extra litter on top of the old litter box to keep that from happening. Very easy to scoop with the top on or off. Good interior design as the corners are more rounded and clumped litter doesn't get trapped in them.
You can see the size difference in the two posted pictures. That white square thing the box sits in is a washing machine pan available at Home Depot or similar store for about $20. Since the top of the old box just sat on the bottom part when a cat urinated against the wall drips and leakage invariable occurred even with the weight of the extra litter on top. Have yet to have any leaks with this box. The dark square infront of the box is an anti-tracking mat to catch any litter than clings to their paws. It is showing less litter tracked out of the old box since I switched to the new box. Don't really seem to need the pan or mat now, but hey I had them so I used them. Optimal litter level is 1.5 - 2 inches IMO. I plan on buying two more to replace other boxes. Just waiting for next month's 'Autoship'.

This fits well in the corner of my kitchen--it is rather large though, so if you are planning on putting it in a small bathroom, check the size first!.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Katz Needs a better designed opening.
This looked like a great idea. Design is fine except for the pour spout on the front which is what it is. The litter just pours out when the cats dig or leave the box. And the door is so high and wide open that they throw the litter clear out in the room. I like the rest of it. I decided to see how I could make it work better. I used some strong clear vinyl fabric and taped it to the opening in the front. I made a smaller door and a flap in the opening and I have big cats. They go thru like a cat door. Also taped over the spout. They need to eliminate that entirely. If people have kittens they should use a small open box. Now it works great but would not recommend it as it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Daisy19 Great, space-saving design
Although designed to fit into a corner, the interior of the box is as roomy as a large rectangular litter box while taking up less area. It is easy to scoop out waste without removing the hood. All three cats use it readily, although I purchased it as an additional box with my elderly cat in mind for more privacy in the room where she spends the most time. My only concern is that the hinges which attach the lid to the box do seem very strong and could possibly break with repeated snapping and unsnapping. The box and lid are otherwise quite sturdy though not heavy. I would definitely recommend it.
