Rated 5 out of 5 by Mirianda Recommended, but with a bit of caveat
I started trying this originally because I have been searching for something that could get one of my boy's diarrhea under control, I had bought some of the rabbit freeze-dried meal or mixer as a treat and to my surprise, it turned into kitty crack (at least that's what I call it). Even a friend's cat who has previously turning his nose up at treats ate it. So I was like - give it a shot. With mixed results.
My two boys are overweight and one has previously only eaten fish very well. One had chronic diarrhea. Emphasis on had.......
I bought a couple cans of this locally to try - being cautious of my fish-lover. To my surprise they both loved this. However, my boy who had diarrhea, has recently started vomiting.
I am going to try the LID version of this and see whether that makes a difference. My boys get dry in the morning and wet at night.
I have tried a large number of the high end cat foods and this has been the only one to completely stop my little boy's diarrhea- so I'm hopeful that I'll get the mix right at some point....

My Kitties Love the Rabbit and Lamb in this line, But it is very very Expensive. So much so that I save it for special occasions. Nice product with great ingredients.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Whisper Bugs Bunny did not make the cut
I thought my cats might enjoy something different so I tried the rabbit cat food. They totally turned their noses up at it. I have never given them rabbit before so I do not know if it was the fact that it was rabbit or the manner in which it was prepared. My daughter's cat loves it so I gave it to her. Not all cats like the same food, so your cat may love this.

My cats love this. Both of them. It is a bit of a challenge finding food that they both like. They lick their bowls totally clean. Will by again

Took me some time to find something my cat could eat that did not require a stupid Rx & was at least half way affordable; this is it. It's her Bugs Diet <;

Rated 4 out of 5 by doni Back to canned...from raw frozen in the freezer
My little yorkie used to be a fan of Nature's Variety Instinct rabbit flavor can. Then I tried raw-frozen instinct version from pet store, and found there were some hard raw bone particles inside that my little one could not digest well. Maybe it's not a big deal to bigger breed but not for my under 6LBS boy. Now I switched back to canned version. This instinct foods look different from most of canned dog foods. No jelly texture, closer to my home made pure meat food for my dog. I like 3oz cat food cans for my dog, because this company says instinct dog or cat foods have same ingredients. I tried freeze-dried, my boy did not enjoy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AndreaT My cats love the taste, I love the ingredients.
I've read the ingredients on nearly every wet cat food product on this site. This is the only brand that has complete nutrition, but doesn't contain any potentially harmful ingredients, such as carrageenan and guar gum. Nature's Variety has informed me that they use dioxin-free calcium Montmorillonite clay in their products, which I've read has many health benefits.
