Nature's Variety Instinct Grain-Free Rabbit Formula Canned Cat Food
meat sourced from china
Our cats love this....however we only feed it once in awhile as the meat is sourced from China....THEN it is made in USA. I called the company and got this info.

Best wet food in the world (esp for cats with food &/or health issues)!
Despite my five cats' many food and/or other health issues, this food never fails. They love it (along with the chicken and duck varieties) no matter how often they eat it. I love it because of the high protein content and lack of frivolous ingredients. One of my five kitties can't eat other wet food without getting seriously ill. (I am not exaggerating. I have tried everything, including cooking her salmon every day until I found this product.)

Excellent choice for the picky eater
I have 4 cats, one of which has food allergies to "traditional" protein (chicken, turkey, beef). While it is sometimes difficult to get, the Rabbit Instinct formula is loved by all for its taste, and my picky IBT cat thrives on it. I highly recommend it!

Healthy food with no vomiting !
I have tried both the rabbit and duck formulas of Instinct and this food has stopped any vomiting completely ! Another canned food was healthy but the vomiting did not entirely stop until I tried this food ! It is comparable to my veterinarian's recommended food that my cats would not eat and tried to cover up. :) The Instinct was an immediate hit with my cats, and I am so happy that they will benefit in many ways. No more vomiting or soft stool !

My cats LOVED this!!!
I have 3 Peterbald Sphynx cats and I wanted to get them to eat healthier. I have poured over reviews for different "grain free" products and it seemed like Nature"s Variety Instinct was the brand that cats liked the most and according to the reviews, cat owners saw the most overall health changing results in their cats and with dog owners as well. I wasn't sure if my cats would turn their noses up to a healthy no grain meal. I was bowled over!! My cats attacked their meal like they had never eaten before... all you could hear was chewing and slurping!! I used a cup of the Nature's Variety Instinct Chicken Meal Formula dry and added one 3 oz can of the Nature's Variety Instinct Rabbit Formula wet. I did add a half can of warm water as my cats like their dry to be on the moist side. My cats LOVED this! They licked their plates clean and were actually full and content. Even a few hours later, they were not looking for more food. The food is a little more expensive but you don't use as much as they get fuller faster and less vet visits due to the health benefits! Its a win win for me!!!

My Bengal Cat was diagnosed with IBD - he almost died - it came on acutely (fine one day, in dire straights, the next). The Vet told me we could only feed him Rabbit or Venison from now on. They gave me a Vet RX formula of canned food (rabbit) - for his feeding tube and also for me to try to get him eating it - and my cat HATED it. At this rate I figured he will starve without his feeding tube... so I thought I'd take a chance and try the Nature's Variety Instinct. I nearly fell over on the floor when I gave it to him and he almost polished off an entire can in it's entirety! So then I popped the lid on the Nature's Variety Venison to see what he'd do (I had to add water - it is very dense) - and sure enough he liked that one too. This was the first big meal my cat has eaten since his feeding tube was installed a week ago. If he keeps this up I will be able to get the tube removed in the next few days! I am so grateful to Nature's Variety for making a palatable formula that my cats love (the other two have no problem cleaning up after my little patient). Many thanks!!

Great for allergy cats!
My sensitive cat loves the rabbit. Its hard to find a limited ingredient novel protein canned food that a cat will actually eat. My orange tabby loves it! Two paws up!
