Nature's Variety Instinct Raw Boost Minis Duck Formula Freeze-Dried Cat Treats
Great food topper
These crumble very easily and I crumble them over wet food to get my pickier eaters started. Works great.

As soon as the bag was open I was swarmed with hungry kitty-cats. They love these treats, and I appreciate being able to give them something that isn't packed with nasty additives or loaded with sodium.

Our cats LOVE these!!!
These treats and the raw boost powder supplement are the only ways we can get any raw food into our cats. They won't touch thawed out frozen raw -- even after we put it in a plastic bag and warm it up with warm water. Since Instinct doesn't make the raw boost powder supplement in duck flavor (I keep hoping they will), we also use this by crumbling it up and mixing in with their canned food.

As great as raw
I feed INSTINCT raw to my two cats and they love them so I chose Raw Boost Minis Freeze-Dried for their treats. They are crazy about this! With the high quality ingredients (i.e., no by-products or "meals" in it) and high protein contents (made for cats) that this product has, this is THE BEST treat.

Bite Size Freeze Dried Raw Treat
Great to have a freeze dried raw treat which comes in bite size. Did not get 5 stars because it has Montmorillonite Clay as one of the ingredients.

Some of our cats love this treat and others will not go near it. So it is 6 in one hand and 1/2 dozen in the other as far as taste appeal.

Scrumptous Cat Treats
Our cats that love these treats so much that they climb over each other to get in line for one. Guess that they don't know that they are nutritious and good for them! Using these treats we have taught our cats to sit, beg, shake a paw, lay down and come. They like the treats so much they will do anything for them.

Good product, not my felines' favorite ...
I have 3 cats from 5 to 12, various shapes and sizes. They loved these treats at first but grew sporadically indifferent. They might eat them if they know that they are not getting anything else ... then refuse to sniff at them. A day later, might eat one again. My cats did not miss them; so, I stopped buying them.
It is a very healthy treat on the whole. It is grain-free, gluten-free, byproducts-free, no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. It contains duck, including ground bone, turkey, turkey liver and heart, fruits, vegetables, and salmon oil for omega 3 and 6. The meat products are freeze dried, not boiled or cooked. The nutritional analysis is outstanding, especially for a cat treat: Crude Protein (min): 40.0%, Crude Fat (min): 30.0%, Crude Fiber (max): 15.0% and moisture (max): 6.0%. There are only 2 cals. per piece, which also makes this an exceptional cat treat.
Having said all of that, the treat has the texture of formed sawdust. As a matter of fact, I was rather glad to stop buying them because, after a long trip in a shipping box with heavier items, sometimes there were fewer whole pieces and a lot of sediment at the bottom of the product box.
It is a great and healthful cat treat. If my cats liked them more consistently, I would still buy them, even if they are shipping unfriendly and tactile unusual.
