My cats love this! My cats are healthier and happier since changing to Nutro Max. They are also having less problems with hair balls and they are happier and fuller on less food. Less food less waste, that makes me happy! August 17, 2013
Excellent product This is my cats favorite hard food. They've been on it for many years & they still love it every day. April 15, 2014
Good Food We have a British Shorthair. She loves this food and it seems to keep her healthy. She very rarely gets sick or has hair balls. No problems with this food. February 21, 2014
Good, tasty, hairball control. My female short-hair rescue cat will not eat canned food and she would only eat one brand of dry food for 5yrs.She gets hairballs and would throw up frequently. She wouldn't eat any of the dry foods I tried hoping to solve the hairball problem. Then I tried MAX Cat, she loves it and she no longer throws up all over the place. My male rescue has weight problems so he is on a different dry food, but he will try to eat her MAX cat instead of his food. February 5, 2014
This product is excellent. My cat Alexis loves it. Her coat is healthy and beautiful. December 15, 2013
Made in USA product I bought this cat food because I wanted a product that would feed all my cats, from kitten to senior cat. It's a little more expensive than I wanted so I bought only one 16lb bag. The cats seem to like the food, but it still did not cure my issue with some of the cats regurgitating after eating their food. The best way that I have controlled this issue was to purchase treats that are specifically made for sensitive stomachs each day. This particular cat food really smells, but it has cut down on the use of the litter box and not eating so much food. September 10, 2013
GOOD FOOD AT A GREAT PRICE! I'm not a big fan of chicken meal used in cat foods rather than chicken but I manage a feral cat colony (TNR) and this is a good food at an affordable price. My non-profet organization, like others, has to stretch our donation dollars as far as we can so this food is AOK with us. The cats are thriving on it. June 13, 2014
Pieces are too large Although my cat seems to really like this food I am pretty unhappy with the size of the pieces. These pieces are dime sized pieces which personally i think its far too large for a kitty.Cali (my cat) is a normal size cat between 6-10 lbs and has a very hard time chewing them to a size where she can swallow them. She takes them out piece by piece and breaks them down into smaller pieces on the floor, then eats the smaller pieces. Ive actually had to mix it in with wet cat food so it can soften the pieces and she can chew them easier This has seemed to help a bit. But if i feed it to her dry she has such a hard time breaking them up that she does not finish her meals. Which means she is still hungry later! June 5, 2014
