Pet Naturals of Vermont Smelly Cat Chews

Put a fresh spin on kitty breath & fecal odor! SMELLY CAT combines specific factors that help to improve fecal quality, clean the blood, reduce the frequency of flatulence, and freshen breath. What makes SMELLY CAT unique is the inclusion of the Champex brand Champignon Mushroom which has been extensively studied for its ability to suppress odor-causing chemicals in the intestines.

Key Benefits

  • Spirulina - is a very good source of Chlorophyll which has a deodorizing effect and helps clean the body of toxins
  • Parsley - also a excellent source of Chlorophyll
  • Champignon Mushroom Extract (ChampexTM brand) has been studied extensively for its ability to reduce odors and improve intestinal conditions. It has been shown to stop foul breath at the source in the intestines. ChampexTM attacks foul breath and body odors where they originate, supporting and maintain- ing a clean condition within the intestines by sup- pressing the generation of toxic chemicals
  • Yucca Schidigera Extract has been shown to reduce the intensity of fecal order in cats by either altering the production or availability of hydrogen sulfide in the large intestine
  • Very palatable sugar-free chicken liver flavored chew!

Cat won't eat it I've tried every trick in the book to get my cat to try these. He will even spit it out if he accidentally bites it while eating around it. Great idea though.? January 29, 2014
An apartment / nose-saver! Our little guy is anything but dainty when it comes to the litterbox. Has the same diet as our older cat (no problems there) but something happens along his digestive route...countless matches, candles, febreezing and nothing was really helping. And I dont like switching up the vet recommended diet. Then I found these...what a great product. Has totally worked for our little dude and the big guy LOVES the smell / taste. Everyone in our house is happier with these treats around. June 21, 2013
Wouldn't be caught without it! My dog and I found a stray kitten in the garage one afternoon and decided to take her in. My, my, did she stink, which wasn't all that surprising given how ragged she appeared. After a few weeks of nutritious food, antibiotics and vaccines, however, the litter box stink remained and could easily clear the house. I saw that Pet Naturals of Vermont produced these (I also use their joint supplements for the dog) and decided to give them a try. HUGE difference!! Granted, it took about a week of the kitten consistently eating two a day before the smell went away but now I can't even tell when she uses the litter box. I HIGHLY recommend these but make sure you're following the directions. Even the little 4 lb kitten needed two a day to chase away the stink. As a side note, these smell like maple syrup to me. Both of my cats come running when they hear the package and gobble them right up, though. May 11, 2013
Cat BEGS for these My cat not only eats them, but begs for them. Any time he hears a package rattle he comes trotting out from wherever he is and chirps at me because of these treats. Bonus, my cat with the deadly wake-you-up-out-of-your-dead-sleep gas and litter box stink hasn't had any occurrences of the Stench since feeding him these. October 7, 2012
Not great! Sorry guy's. This stuff is awful. It smells so bad the cat would not go near it. I threw it out. I'll try something new. April 2, 2012
Working! As long as they'll eat them. With my cats, so far no litter box emergency smells! You know that unmistakable odor from a freshly deposited really stinky one. Haven't had any recently. Makes me happy, 2 of the cats like the treats, although the other one cat won't eat them (he's picky about food, also can't eat beef). 2 out of 3 isn't too bad. I also haven't had to feed them the treats everyday. March 10, 2012
