My cat has UT issues and has been on prescription food and I always felt guilty when I gave the dog a treat and I couldn't give him one. There was one product that was great but expensive. So when I found this product it was great that both of my little ones could get treats. I am on his second bag and even though he is only allowed one a day, for him it is better then nothing.

My extremely picky cat just loved these treats. I purchased many different treats that were specific to cats with urinary tract disease, but my cat would not eat any of them.

by DonnaC She just loves these " cookies "
My cat has had urinary problems for years. Two surgeries for crystals, blood in urine, slow flow, etc... She would starve before eating prescription wet food, so the vet suggested a grain free wet with cranberry, supplemented with a treat like these. Have tried three and these are by far her favorite. She has now gone over a year without an issue.

But you do not get many treats for the high cost. Nevertheless I will buy them again. I hope they go on sale soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Zenzuki sticky and chewy type of treat
I bought this item for Leo who had bladder crystal and were treated with medicine including glycosaminoglycans (GAGS) which is Adequan injection at the vet. I later bought Cosequin capsule to mix with his wet food. However, he detects Cosequin and doesn't like it. So, this treat is an alternative which has been well accepted by Leo. It's hard to know whether it helps him, as it's a preventative measure to protect his bladder. I also try to give this to Butter who may benefit from it. Sadly, she turns her nose to this treat. I don't like texture of this treat and hope it can be made with less tough & chewy. Anyhow, the lot received from Chewy.com is much better than the one I bought at a local pet store.
