Great fountain dish! I have 2 cats that weren't drinking enough water, because of that my male cat got a urinary track infection. The vet said I needed to get him drinking more water so I saw this dish and thought it would be great because it was ceramic, I liked that because he is a big boy and I didn't want him to dump it over if he stepped on it. It took him 3 days and he is drinking water like never before, I couldn't be happier. It isn't real loud and it is a nice looking dish! If your cat needs to drink more water I highly recommend this dish. My other cat is still a little afraid of it but I think it won't be long before she is using it. June 28, 2013
a spring the house Nice, easy to assembly, cats love it. The only noise I hear is the water bubbling up and then down the water path (no motor noise), it sounds like a small babbling spring in the kitchen. August 16, 2013
I love it - unfortunately my older cats do not It's a really nice unit. I wouldn't recommend it for people with older cats that are stuck in their ways though. February 13, 2014
good fountain but my cat hasn't showed interests The fountain has a nice design. The pump is quiet and no water splashing out of the bowl like some of the other reviews I found in other sites. People has different tolerance to noise and I couldn't find any specifics during my research, so I thought I would throw in my personal experience. If I really pay attention, I can hear the pump running. But the pump is so quiet that the noise is masked by the sound of running water. As long as you can tolerate the noise level of a dripping faucet, you should have no problem with this fountain. I didn't give 5 stars for 2 reasons: 1) The manufacturer could easily match the colour of the pump housing with the colour of the water bowl. This would definitely improve the appearance of the fountain. 2) It has been 2 weeks, but my cat only watches the water running. I see him drinking when I have the pump turned off, but never see him close to it when the pump is running... January 3, 2014
Easy to clean Pros: Attractive design, good size for cats, quiet, durable, heavy ceramic, easy to clean, and lets pet drink from either cascade or pool. Cons: does not hold as much water as another more popular fountain so must be topped off periodically. The aesthetics and ease of cleaning compared to the other brand makes it a winner at our house. Works great Easy to assemble and disassemble to clean. Sound from fountain is pleasant. Most importantly our 3 cats all love it and have stopped drinking from our faucets. What more can I's a keeper. January 16, 2014
Great buy! Works well and is not loud and has a nice babbling creek sound. none of my animals are scared of it. glad i bought it! easy to clean and maintain as well December 12, 2013
Not for us Although the product is easy to assemble, and good quality, our cat will not drink from it. It is too noisy and scares her away. In addition you have to refill the water every couple days as bowl is small. I do not recommend it for those that travel. November 16, 2013
