PureBites Shrimp Freeze-Dried Cat Treats
Great for diabetic kitties....
Our Pinky has diabetes and we have been wrestling with her high gluocose readings for two years. Since we switched from regular grocery store treats to PureBites Shrimp (and chicken and turkey, too), her glucose readings now average 146 (normal 100) and it's still coming down. Both Pinky and Poo love PureBites. Poo does not have diabetes but is a very senior 17 yrs old. Thank goodness for PureBites.

Cats wouldn't touch these bites.
My 3 cats would not eat these even though they smelled shrimpy.

My cat Lucy did not like these treats at all. She didn't even taste them, just took one sniff & walked away. I was sure she would like them as she loves the BFF tuna & shrimp canned food.

Unfortunately, my cat snubbed his nose at this treat. I am not sure why b/c, well, what cat would not adore shrimp? I tried them b/c they are all natural. I would still suggest that you give them a try and not base your decision on my persnickety felilne.

cats refused to eat
I added these to my cart to get free shipping, assuming at least 1 of my 4 cats would eat them. Sadly they all refused. On the upside, these are all natural, only 1 ingredient, and would be great for a cat willing to eat them!

PureBites in general are incredible because you are able to give your pets a treat without giving them an excessive amount of junk. I love that this is one ingredient, pure and simple. My cats love fish and they go crazy for these shrimp.

Healthy treats that make my kitties happy
I initially bought a different brand of freeze-dried treats but the store I go to ran out of them. I was leery of trying some of the other brands as I didn't want a hard kibble for a treat and wasn't too sure about "freeze-dried" meats as they felt so soft.
My kitties absolutely love these little shrimp. The first bag even disappeared for days after one of my cats picked it up and hide it until he gave me the empty bag back. These shrimp make the cats happy, are healthy and easy to treat them with.
From my experience, the shrimp - and this brand - seem a bit firmer than the other brands I've looked at. There's no preservatives in them, just dried meat. Probably the best treat to give them - and there's a lot of flavors to choose from.
