Rated 5 out of 5 by Great price! I have to buy this food for one of my cats and at other pet stores I get charged $40 for the 16 lb bag. I wanted to see if I could get it cheaper and when I saw it on here for $29 after shopping I didn't think it was real or that it was the right size bag. I got it 3 or 4 days after purchasing and to my surprise it's the same everything and I saved $10. Awesome pricing. Great site! May 13, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Keeping a skin problem under control. I have two indoor "rescued feral" cats that are tame. I feed a small (4 cats) feral colony out back that will not acclimate to being in the house. They are all 6-12 years old and doing well except for my "Little Orange Cat" that developed itching, scabs, and then open sores on her back. I somehow managed to get her into a carrier and take her to a vet! She behaved well, to my surprise. Anyway, LOC was diagnosed with a probable food allergy. The vet gave her two shots and recommended that I feed her only grain-free food. That did not work out as all the cats go from bowl to bowl and liked to eat her food because it tasted better. I could not afford to keep this up. So I tried Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach with Lamb and Rice. It is not as expensive as totally grain-free food, and after two months of feeding it the LOC still has not had any sign of the bad skin returning and she is not constantly scratching like she was before. All the cats outside eat it, and they are all looking better and their coats are shiny. They do not look like outdoor feral cats!! Ironically, one of my indoor cats has a similar skin product and throws up a few times a week. I have tried my best to get her to eat the Pro Plan with no luck. I guess she does not like lamb and rice flavors. I am mixing it in a little bit at a time with her food of choice (also a Purina product) and hoping that she will get used to eating some of the Pro Plan. I gave four stars because my indoor cat does not like it, but in all other regards this food has five stars from me. May 3, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Yummmm Midnight loves this kibble and picks it out of the mix I make with three types of dry. He had a dry skin problem when I adopted him but it has lessened with this food. I love the prices at Chewy and their fast order processing. April 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by All four cats like it--what a pleasure... I researched several products because one of my cats has a sensitive stomach. I thought this was perfect mix for her but it turns out all four like it which is so nice. I don't feel like I'm preparing a buffet for them any more. March 8, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cat ate this immediately . The reason I tried this food is because my cat is allergic to something but I don't know what. He still itches but has calmed down. He had become very hyper with all the foods I had tried so at least now he is more manageable. February 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Finally, an afforable solution to eliminate loose stools. Sorry for the graphic title, but I have two (DSH) female siblings (1 1/2 years old) and one of the two has never had a really solid stool since the day I brought them home. I have tried holistic and natural foods, dry and wet and nothing helped. Her sister can eat anything with no problems. In the past, (before I got caught up in holistic and natural cat foods) I fed Pro Plan Indoor for years to all my cats and they were always happy and healthy. I was getting ready to buy the Royal Canin Hypoallergenic in absolute desperation (VERY pricey), but decided to give Pro Plan Focus a try first. Like many pet owners, I'm more willing to spend extravagant amounts on my pet's food before my own. Wow! Pro Plan Focus Adult Sensitive Skin & Stomach worked! I just ordered it for the fourth time and felt it certainly deserves an excellent rating. I started using it in August 2013 and three months later, we have no more loose, smelly stools. Hooray for Purina Pro Plan once more and thank you for making an affordable product that actually does what the label states it's supposed to do. November 1, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by I'm sure some pets would like it. Out of the 8 cats I fed this to, they all turned their noses up to it. Another product to donate. February 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent I used to buy this from Eucanuba but when it was discontinued, I had problems finding it. Before I bought my Ragdolls I was feeding my other cats and dogs Purina and never had a problem. They loved the taste and were very healthy. Finally, I found Purina Pro Plan (had to be lamb & rice) just what they had with Eucanuba . They love it even more and eating a lot. I don't know if thats such a good idea because they already weigh 20 lbs each. But what the heck. AS LONG AS THEIR HAPPY. Thank you Purina for being there for as far back as I can remember. Which would be about 40 yrs !!!! :) January 3, 2016
