Kittens love it I use this for my older foster kittens and I have yet to have one that didn't like it. It is great for mixing in any medicine with, too. The gravy seems to hide the yucky meds. June 30, 2014
Not Just for Kittens ! Originally, this was purchased for our 3-month Sphynx kitten who jus loves the stuff.. Once our 3 other 6-year + Sphynx had a taste, they will not eat anything else ! The food has no "fishy" odor in the bowl, or on the breath. Now, I give them all the same food and they love it !!! June 16, 2014
Makes my cat sick I ease into new cat food and was impressed with the high protein content of Royal Canine. But whatever is in it causes my cat diarrhea. Would not recommend it. September 19, 2012
Royal Canin Kitten The breeder for our Chocolate Point Siamese put on kitten on this food, our vet said it was the best food and to keep him on it! He is absolutely beautiful, his coat is gorgeous. Xavier loves the food and prefers this one over the "loaf" can. June 12, 2014
Happy Twin Butter Scotch Tabbies! My babies have been on Royal since in the womb. We fed their mama Mother Cat/Baby Cat formula dry food and then when the girls turned 4 weeks we put them on the baby cat loaf cans and dry food. We've stuck with it onto the kitten phase which is 4-12 months and they love the little slices in gravy. I am very happy that there are larger sized cans now that are also Kitten Instinctive and they are loaf style. It gives the girls a little variety, at least in texture since I don't know if the flavor is different. We tried all other premium kitten foods and they DID NOT WANT ANY OF THEM. They starved themselves for like 4-5 days whenever we put any of them down. They are apparently going to be Royal Canin babies for life. April 23, 2014
My cats LOVE this food! My cats walked away from many different canned cat and kitten food. This one they LOVED and scarfed it down! March 29, 2014
Kittens vote for #1 I have 2 kittens and have tried all of the premium brands - blue buffalo, wellness, science diet. Hands down Royal Canin is their favorite and there are never any left overs. I am not sure it's all related to taste because Royal Canin is the only kitten food I found that is cut up chunks in a gravy. All of the others I've tried are standard meatloaf type texture. I love the ingredients. My kittens do not like the taste. They will not even take the first bite. I've tried all the kitten food. Does anyone have any suggestions or is this just the "finicky" part? February 6, 2014
