Royal Canin Maine Coon Dry Cat Food 4.8 5 54 54
Large kibbles for large mouths!! I have 3 very large, very magnificent Maine Coons. The kibbles are large enough that they can easily be picked up with a paw and large enough that they must be chewed before they are swallowed. The omega 3 is very important in maintaining their joint health. Their coats are thick and shiney but most of all anything that helps to protect their hearts is extremely important because of their size. February 27, 2013
Maine Coons in love Our Maine Coons love this food. We feed the a holistic dry food and a name brand cat food along with filtered water. We use Royal Canin Maine Coon Food for treats. They all love it so it work out well. January 4, 2013
Bangor loves it Bangor loves this food and looks forward to breakfast time. I am really thankful to find such an awesome food to help with my sweet Bangor. Maine coons are a wonderful breed and deserve to have the very best! July 24, 2012
Both my cats love this larger nugget dry catfood I have one Maine Coon and a short-hair tuxedo, both indoor-only cats. I mix three types of Royal Canin dry cat food: this one (Maine Coon), Indoor Beauty, and Indoor Adult 27. The "boys" love it. Even the smaller non-Maine Coon likes these larger nuggets. I figure this helps both cats' dental health, as well, per the larger nuggets and the extra chewing they have to do. My Maine Coon, at 19 pounds, enthusiastically goes for these larger kibbles; however, he won't eat them alone, preferring the dry Royal Canin mix I give both cats...that is, when he is not hauling around large rolls of toilet tissue (he "decorates" with tissue) and my husband's shoes (these cats are more like dogs)! I've noticed that one or two of these kibbles is/are often made into a cat toy (until one of the cats eats it, that is)! I will definitely stay with this Maine Coon Royal Canin dry cat food...both cats love it. March 16, 2014
My Maine Coons LOVE this food- and it does slow their eating down! I would give it 5 stars if Royal Canin would get the chicken by-products & the gluten out of the recipe! February 20, 2014
Great for Long Haired Cats I got adopted by a feral cat. He looks much like a Maine Coon, but don't rightly know what he is. Anyway, he had dandruff and I tried almost every cat food out there (natural, no grain etc.). Then I got the stuff for Maine Coons and the dandruff went away. Now he gets about 1/2 and 1/2 to keep the cost of feeding him lower. But his coat/skin still looks good. January 26, 2014
Love the Maine Coon food! My five boy's love the Maine Coon food. They also have Fromms and Innova for added variety. But they can't wait or the maine Coon bowl to be filled. I like that it has joint ingredients as they are large cats. Now I know some of the stuff in the food is not the greatest for them but it is what they like the best. Also the breeder feeds this to her baby's. The vet recommends it .I have used this food for many yrs. January 6, 2014
Giant kibble! Katarina is a female Maine Coone who is about 14lbs..not a giant but definitely a big girl! She tends to swallow smaller kibble whole (and then choke) so I decided to give this food a try. She seemed interested at first, but after crunching a couple of pieces turned away and wouldn't touch it again, so after three days I gave up and ordered something else. She usually accepts any food I give her, so I assume that the size is what turned her off. This kibble is the same size as what I feed my medium sized dogs! Royal Canin is usually a brand I can count on but this food was definitely a bust. Unless your Maine Coone is huge I'd stick with something else. April 29, 2013
