Whether you love cats for their beauty, their elegance or their agility, a cat is above all a companion. That’s why lifestyle, sensitivities and age are all crucial considerations when it comes to choosing the right nutrition. Royal Canin Mother & Babycat is designed to meet the specific nutritional needs of mothers and young kittens. During the first stage of growth, your kitten grows very quickly and important internal systems are developing rapidly, so feeding the right nutrition is crucial.

Customer Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 40 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very much in demand i donate to many animal sanctuaries. they are happy when they receive this. it is both great for the cat and her kittens. so at one sanctuary,in AZ, i've auto ship it every 4 weeks. it's convenient and i don't have to worry about not ordering it. i hope they don't run out before the next shipment. Rated 5 out of 5 by It is a great food to get babies to start eating solid food and the Mom's love it too Cats and kittens love it, it is great to get babies eating dry food. March 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good for my senior, underweight cat I was looking for a higher calorie brand for my 13 year old cat. He not only gobbles it up, it does not upset his digestive system. March 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not impressed with the ingredients I bought this for my foster kittens because the kibble is small and they can easily eat it, they also really like it. It was recommended by a vet. Reading the ingredients I can't believe the amount of fillers and corn and lack of healthy ingredients. Probably why they eat so much, there is not much nutrition, it was wrong for me to assume that because it was expensive and recommended by a vet that it was actually good for my dozens of foster kittens, it is not as advertised. Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for ailing older cats as well as newborns. Used this (and every other brand of specialty food in the pet store). Best for ailing or allergy sensitive cats. November 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ingredient Although my kittens liked royal canin and showed results, I switched to different brand that has more carnivore friendly ingredient which doesn't contain meat byproduct and barley or corn is not first top ingredient. July 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Edible for very young kittens Royal Canin Babycat 34 is the best dry food I have found for tiny young mouths. The kittens I get are usually feral and strays so I have to get them eating quickly. Some litters I am able to capture and bring inside but most are in the barn cats. I use both forms, both wet and dry, but mostly dry since the mothers and kittens sometimes leave but return. After all, I offer very good food in using Royal Canin; that good flavor brings 'em back. And Mr. Chewy is my go-to guy for Royal Canin. July 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Baby Cat 34 is one I've used for years All of my babies start out on Baby Cat 34. I am a Persian breeder and have had many kittens. The kibbles are small, the food nutritious, and no digestive issues with this food. I've tried other brands and always went back to Royal Canin Baby Cat 34. This is a great choice that I will stay with! August 20, 2013
