Rated 5 out of 5 by love My 17 year old cat just loves this food. He looks foward eating it . January 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comments from MR. LILLY (and his man, Ashby) My cat, Mr. Lilly,(age 16) had rejected everything except canned tuna. Out of desperation I ordered a sample order of Royal Canin, Modified-P (Dry) and Felo Formula (Can)...fully anticipating throwing it out like the rest of renal food we had tried. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. He actually ate it and liked it...altho still insisted I entice him with a little Tuna occasionally as a treat, just to maintain his control over me.I have his permission to order more from CHEWY.COM. What a relief. September 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cats like it I have 2 cats, one with renal disease. The vet said I could give this to both, since it is hard to keep their food separate. They both like it. And they like it much better than other brands. I also give them the chicken flavor of Royal Canin. They like both flavors January 25, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by My cat recated poorly to this food. I believe this food to be low quality protein. My cat vomited and also began incessantly drinking water. I have been told by a holistic vet that this company puts all their money into marketing. Although I do not know that to be a fact but if it's true it is alarming. Best of luck with your renal cat. Rated 4 out of 5 by Palatable Food Crystal (cat with renal issues) likes dry food. She found this palatable. Even my other cats who do not have renal issues like this food. The other cats got into it by accident though, and I am not feeding them this prescription diet. So good job Royal Canin for making this food taste good! July 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for an elderly cat with diminished renal function I ordered this product for the first time, using this website as recommended by the Vet at the Charlottesville, VA, SPCA. I know my order had to be coordinated with the Vet because this is prescription food. I am pleased that the whole process went so smoothly, without any run-arounds and the delivery was quick. Thank You. March 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by very successful dry food for sick cat my 14yr-old cat is suffering from kidney disease and it has been difficult to switch him over from his old high-protein diet to his new low-protein foods. After being hospitalized and receiving much needed treatments, his appetite has been restored much to our amazement. He eats his food much better than he did at first and I am pleased to say he is gaining some necessary weight. December 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pippy Likes It!! This Royal Canin renal modified P veterinary diet for a cat's failing kidneys is the favorite of the ones my cat has tried. The specialized kidney diet takes out a lot of the protein to ease the work of the cat's kidneys, but that also takes out a lot of what the cat really wants to eat. So we are always trying to find acceptable kidney diet foods that Pippy will eat. This one at least appeals to her. Pippy's Mom. September 17, 2014
