My Cat Hates it...but LOVED the MIG one Unfortunately, Chewy no longer carries the Modified in Gravy version of the Renal LP, which had bits of food smothered in gravy and she would eat it up. But after trying this version, she just walks away. December 8, 2012
My cat likes it! My cat loved the old formula of little bits, so I was hesitant to try this new formula which is a pate. She ate it all up the first time & continues to love it. For renal disease kitties, this is a good choice. December 15, 2012
Give it a try! At first my cat Zooey turned away from this meal, missing the more textured version of Royal Canin which is no longer available. Now Zooey eats it with enthusiasm. Took about a week for the adjustment. January 2, 2013
Great! My cat loves this food and eats it all up! It has also really helped manage his kidney disease. January 3, 2014
Kidney patient loves it We have a senior citizen whose decreasing kidney function had him very dehydrated earlier in the summer. He was prescribed subcutaneous fluids and other supplements, as well as LP food. He didn't enjoy the LP initially, so we didn't push it. When he didn't improve much, the doc insisted he eat LP. We tried it again, and now he loves it. He's back to his old self, running the household. He primarily eats the canned version, but we bought him dry food for an occasional treat. Loves both. Great for cats with renal issues My cat is very finicky when it comes to her food. As she is suffering with the early stages of renal disease, her food options are limited to prescription diets. She loves this food and has not tired of it at all. I feel good knowing that we are able to keep her renal disease controlled right now with diet. January 18, 2013
