Saved my cat's life! I can't believe how fast I got this! One day! I thought I was going to lose my cat, she was so sick. She had lost so much weight, her fur was oily and she could barely stand up. Then my vet discovered that she wasn't digesting her food. My vet prescribed this food and within days, my baby was getting better. Now she is back to normal. I'm glad I found this site. Excellent for cats with special needs. Rocky loves this food and looks forward to eating it everyday. It has helped him with the intestinal problems he was having, but not anymore. April 20, 2013
Amazing Food! My cat loves this food! Before he was put on it by a vet he would get a urinary tract infection every 2-3 months. Finally after years of dealing with this a a vet put him on this food. I've tried other foods that are less expensive for urinary tract infections, but nothing works like Royal Canin. Thanks for selling such an awesome product! November 4, 2012
Poor Little Kitty Feb of 2012 My daughter rescued a kitten. She and this little kitty bonded immediately...a couple of months later kitty (josie) was not eating and into the vet we go...the worst periodontal disease my vet had ever seen. He started with 10 teeth and finally worked up to NO TEETH...still bacteria...he put her on the Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Selected Protein PD and the sores stopped..no more antibiotics, no more pain compounds and no more teeth..they needed to come out anyway...they were all loose! Happy ending. May 2, 2013
New Food Seems to be Helping Our vet recommended we switch to the Royal Canin brand last year when our 6-year-old cat seemed to be vomiting regularly after eating other commercial pet food brands - like Pet Guard. She loved the flavors, and always ate them eagerly. But she would vomit everything up. He felt she may be allergic to some of the ingredients in the regular brands. In general, she seems to like the hypoallergenic Royal Canin flavors; happily, her vomiting has diminished over time. We only just started her on the duck, so we are watching how she does with that particular flavor. March 3, 2014
This food probably saved my cat's life. My 14 year-old cat had been suffering from an intestinal inflammation for a couple of months. Medication alone was not doing the trick, so her doctor put her on the Royal Canin Hypo-allgergenic Select Protein PD food. She loves it, and her medical issue appears to have been resolved. Buying this from the vet's supplier was about $20 more per case than buying it from chewy.com. Thanks to chewy.com for helping my kitty. March 3, 2014
This product has great features Our cats like this can food. Not sure if they would at first, but they have taken to it and look forward to it everyday. January 15, 2014
Excellent product! My cat has been eating this food for years, and he hasn't tired of it yet! He gobbles it down at every meal. It has been a life-saver for him, as he had developed a strange allergy that had him licking himslef until he bled! Once on this food, though, he stopped, and all of his symptoms have gone away.
