Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product This product has made a tremendous impact on my cat's overall health. Since switching him to this cat good, he isn't vomiting after eating as he had been, thus he has gained and maintained a healthy weight. He still has G. I. Issues; however, has helped calm his frequency of vomiting. May 8, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal Moderate Calorie Dry Cat Food I don't like dry food for cats, but I understand that you don't carry this food as a wet food. The cat I need it for also needs moisture in her food; when I put water on this, she refuses to eat it. Also, I had to buy a 7 lb. bag before I knew whether she'd eat it. I need a 4 lb. bag and wet food to be offered. I can't recommend this since I really believe cats should not be fed dry food. My vet wanted the components of this food for our cat, so I got what I could. April 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Did great For my senior cat When the vet prescribed this food for my oldest cat I didn't think he really needed it, bad I know. But when I got him on the gastrointestinal moderate calorie kibles he was a lot more active. I thought him not up and about was just him showing his age, but now I see it was something else. Since day one of him on this food he has been up and about and lounging in other spots around my apartment! I love that his little tummy isn't hurting anymore!! March 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by All our cats like it! When we first got our two ragdolls, they had diarrhea and it lasted many months while our vet had us try different prescription diet foods for them. None of them helped, until he recommended Royal Canin Gastrointestinal HE for them. It worked! Totally cleared up the diarrhea! And they seemed to love the food, as did our domestic cats since we put them all on the same food. A few years later, our vet said they were putting on a couple extra pounds and so we switched them (very slowly) to Royal Canin Gastointestinal MODERATE CALORIE prescription diet food. We were hesitant at first because we definitely didn't want the ragdolls returning to a diarrhea phase. But we made the change, no diarrhea and they are happy with the new food. All is good and we would highly recommend these products from Royal Canin. January 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Our cat loves the taste of this food Our cat had emergency surgery 7 yrs ago for swallowing a ribbon. Our vet recommended this food for him. It was supposed to be the best solution for our cat's delicate system. Our cat loves the food and we couldn't be happier that he does. January 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Eats when he feels good When the cat is feeling alright, he eats this food. When his IBD kicks in, he won't. But then, he won't eat anything. The other cats like to steal it, so it must taste good. February 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cats love it and it is good for their gastro-tracts No problem getting them to eat this. It is good for their stomachs and they are not throwing up after eating it. I mix it up with Royal Canin Special 33 which they also like. October 7, 2015
