Customer Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product so far I have four cats and out of the four two have chronic digestive issues. After every test pertinent to the issue the vet put them on a brand of cat food for IBS. They ate it for awhile but were still having bad diarrhea…then they just stopped eating it unless I added inexpensive canned food to it. Things really got ugly after that…explosive diarrhea. The constant cleaning of litter boxes, walls, and kitty butts was just about to send me around the bend. THEN, after venting to our ever patient Vet, he suggested we try Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal Fiber Response Dry Cat Food. Unbelievable!! They absolutely LOVED it…chowed down like there was no tomorrow. There was about a week of adjustment to the food…lots and lots of poo but NO diarrhea. Since then the amount of poo has lessened, it has a good consistency and NO diarrhea and they still love the stuff. I've tried them on the wet food but they aren't as crazy about it as the dry even though they were on canned food before. June 25, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the few foods my 12 year old Siamese can keep down I've been looking for foods that my sweet girl can eat and don't cause vomiting and diarrhea. She has a sensitive stomach. I suspect that any type of gluten (wheat or corn) is the problem. She loves the way they taste, she just vomits them shortly after, and then has diarrhea a few hours after that. So far, this food and Purina Gastroenteric EN are two foods she can handle. I'm so grateful for them. Royal Canin, PLEASE make a dry food without corn or wheat gluten! She can't tolerate ANY of your dry foods. I will love you forever, if you do... April 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for sensitive digestive systems My 12-year-old cat, Blue, LOVES this food. She suffers from chronic loose stools and this food has helped make her stools a little firmer. She's normally very picky but she loves this food so much she almost tries to climb up my leg when I'm putting the food into a bowl. Blue doesn't have any teeth so I just mash the little meaty chunks into a pate for her. April 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kits love this food I have 3 cats; two who are normal weight and one who is extremely overweight and was put on a special diet by her vet. I have to feed all 3 cats the diet food because Chubs would push them out of their dishes and eat their food as well. It has been a challenge finding a diet food that they all like. Finally found it! All 3 love the Royal Canin. I highly recommend this food, particularly if you are having trouble finding an appealing diet food for your cat(s). March 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great food! My cat who has severe gastrointestinal issues to the point where she pulls hair out and develops balds spots has done tremendously well with this food (and 2 pain meds). My veterinarian did a consult for my cat on this issue and this was the food recommended for her. She eats both the dry and canned (morsels in gravy) and likes both. February 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Highly nutritious food My two cats both love this food. In fact, they devour it and look for more when the bowl is empty. Compared to other similar products on the market, Royal Canin is costly, but well worth the price. I feel assured my cats are eating nutritious food. December 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solved our cat's bowel problem Not only do both of our cats really love this food, but it completely solved the irritable bowel problem that our new kitty had. November 6, 2015
