by Shoshanna Cats were a little freaked out but I love it
The smell is huge to begin with...geraniums or marigolds and peppermint. It kind of freaked the cats at first but the fleas are not on them and they are adjusting. It does even make the house smell good when they walk through the room. I would heartily recommend this as most other spot treatments were "burning" the skin on my little boy that has allergies.. No such issues with this product. I really recommend this product.

by FloridaBirdGirl Great Smell! Easy Application!
I've never used this, but because I have had good results with another "natural ingredient" product to fight fleas, I thought I would give it a try. It helped a great deal that the cost is MUCH less than the "chemical" brands.
I just applied it to my 2 cats per the instructions & it went fairly well. The application spot is "...high on back of neck to just above the shoulders...." so it made it much easier to get the product down to the skin.
I plan to write another review in a few weeks after it has had a chance to work (or not...).
If anyone else has used this--please review!

I have been using this product for years for my cats. It is a great, natural product that I highly recommend to apply monthly. The smell is strong at first, but still pleasant.

We had a flea infestation when we contaminated our housecats from an outside guy. This product helped very much, but I still use a flea comb and trap any remaining fleas in a wet paper towel and then seal them up in a sandwiche bag. This smells wonderful and not too strong. We don't want the chemicals on our furbabies! We will continue using this as needed.

Now all this may appear as some negative ol'dude spoutin off just for the sake of a platform...NO SO...but neither is it a blazing endorsement...AND...keep in mind each case is its own set of circumstances...in my case, I am committed to "the natural-way" and that takes longr...but my kitties appreciate my not polluting their bodies with toxic ingredients and are patient as we work through allowing the nematodes to clear our yard and we'll work on inside...BTW...it did slow the fleas down for a couple days...and being totally honest...we kept up our routine of going outside each day...bottomline...be your own responsible one and make your own choices...thank you Sentry for trying with as little toxic effect as possible.

This product is not a money saver. If your experience is like mine, you will end up wasting a lot of time, energy, and more money on dealing with all the fleas that stick around and lay eggs that hatch after you apply this to your cats. I think it kills some adult fleas at first, but it's just not effective enough to end even a low-level infestation.
Also, the fluid itself is excessive in volume. No matter how well you place it on a cat, it SPREADS down the fur and the cat will be able to reach it with her tongue, ending up miserable.
I have 3 indoor-only cats who still have fleas after using this product 2 weeks ago. I'm faced with the prospect of giving them thorough baths so that I can put on chemicals. Thanks, Sentry!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Lindsey The smell is way too strong!
I bought this product because I really liked that it was natural. When I put it on my kittens it was so strong for days , even after attempting to wipe it off. I caused me to have headaches anytime they came near me, so I can only imagine how they felt.

I like the idea of a natural product but my cat's skin reacted to this one. She started scratching. I tried to wash it off, but it is oil based so not easy (and cats love baths!) to remove. I have a cat with a few bald patches where she ripped the hair out scratching her head. I saw others had good luck. Not so at my house. :-(
