This would be my favorite natural litter if not for the fact that it is about the dustiest. When its fresh out of the bag, clouds of dust surround you as you scoop. This is a great example of a manufacturer being able to claim anything (99.9% dust free!) about their product because no one is going to hold them accountable. Also, it does track all over the place, but they all do. It has the best odor protection out there--it's the only litter I've ever found that actually covers poo smell. And it clumps well, too, at least until it gets saturated, but at that point you should change the box.

I bought this in store because I had a coupon. Luckily my cat had another litter box with his usual litter. This has a VERY strong pine scent. He didn't use the box with this litter for three days. Great that it's natural, but wouldn't be my first choice.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by 3goodcats Leight-weight natural clumping cat litter
This litter clumps well and adds a pleasant fragrance. Cats are using it after years of all-corn litter (which is heavier, getting harder to find and in today's market is more expensive). They might find the texture softer on their paws, as the cedar and pine are finely ground rather than in pellet form. It tracks a bit more than the other litter right out of the box, but is not dispersed as widely.
Definitely give it a try!

I add this to the standard clumping litter and it helps keep it fresher. I would like to see a product with more cedar available.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by EmiGillespie Amazing odor control
I absolutely love this litter! I currently have 4 cats and 1 foster cat. This litter has by far the best odor control of any I have tried and it lasts for such a long time. I can have the 14 lb. bag last for about 2 weeks as long as i scoop daily. Sometimes it doesn't clump as well as you would like, but the odor control is worth it. Highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Bilingualgal Best if mixed with standard litter
I have 2 older cats & 1 is strictly indoor. The other has failing kidneys due to age. The cats didn't seem to notice when I mixed Pure Nature into their standard litter, but by itself, the guy with the kidney problem started whining. The price through Chewy is much better than through retail. I like that it is lightweight/easy to carry.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Sydney Best pine litter so far
I've tried a couple different pine litters, and this is the best so far. As other reviewers said, this litter tracks EVERYWHERE. It's so lightweight, there's no preventing it. It's also not the greatest clumping litter, but it's pine, not clay. This is safe to breathe, unlike clay litter, and it's natural, which is nice for the planet. It has great odor control- the only time I smelled anything is when a few weeks had gone by and the litter needed to be rotated out. One thing that takes getting used to: a strong cedar scent. It's fresh and enjoyable, and people don't know it's the litter they're smelling, but your whole apartment will smell like cedar (in't seem to bother the cats, though).

Rated 3 out of 5Â by smjo Nice scent, poor clumping
I tried this litter as a cheaper alternative to my regular stuff. The cedar scent is quite strong, but pleasant. The litter is very lightweight, which is a plus. However, this stuff tracks like crazy. Expect to sweep your floors three or four times a day. It also sticks to my long haired cat, so he tracks it all over the place. It doesn't clump very well either. The clumps tend to break apart into little pieces when scooped.
