A Perfect Way to Try This Out We were new to Tiki Cat wet cat food so opted to start with this Variety Pack. We chose this pack, because it has more Chicken varieties than their other one. This was a fabulous way for us to try all of the flavours on our eight indoor cats, without having to buy twelve different cases of food. Other cat-food companies should follow suit. One thing that I REALLY like about Tiki Cat Food is the lack of excess gravy/liquid in the cans. You are definitely getting a can full of fish or chicken from Tiki. We were a little concerned about the jump in price (and smaller can size) compared to the other high-quality foods which we've been using. Definitely worth the money. In fact, I believe that you get as much (if not more) actual food in this 2.8-ounce can than we do in our other 3-ounce gravy cans. And all this in a can that doesn't appear to have a BPA lining. OUR STORY We feed one 6-ounce can of wet food in the AM to seven of our eight cats (they share off two plates). Only seven? Iveta has refused to even look at wet food, ever since she was born. Her mother's milk was enough for her, and she couldn't wait to get to those kibbles! So, only seven cats share the wet food. We then have a princely creature, named Oliver, who gets his own private can of wet food in the early PM. The peasants gets what he leaves. He is a cornstarch, junk-food addict, so we knew that if Oliver would eat it, anyone would eat. Guess what?! He loves this Tiki food, particularly the Chicken and Chicken/Salmon varieties. He isn't keen on the fish-only flavours, but that holds true for all brands with him. He doesn't even notice that there is barely any moisture in this food (and NO gravy as he knows it). He doesn't just lick it and run, though, he actually eats some of it! Yea! The chicken is shredded. If they lick it dry before the meat is gone, I just rehydrate with a little warm water, and they go right back to it. The fish is quite fresh looking. Doesn't look at all like you'd expect, because it isn't this anemic white-meat stuff like people eat. It's quite dark, dry and flaky. Nice liquid around it (whichever flavour you choose), just enough to keep it moist. If you're looking for a can of gravy, this food is not for you. If you're looking for healthy meat/fish, then this is just what you'll like. We have to rotate the fish flavours, because not all of our cats like it. That said, all of our canned-food eaters will eat some of the fish-chicken mixes, which is saying a lot. Not one of our cats has ever been coaxed into eating even one bite of people's tuna from a can. So, don't bypass this just because your cat won't share your tuna with you. This is much different. WHY WE LIKE IT Lots of healthy-looking meat/fish Little moisture No appearance of BPA lining (not verified) Variety Pack Available November 14, 2013
My finicky kitties LOVE this food!! This is hands down the best canned cat food on the market in my opinion. My cat's LOVE it! Even the one who gags at EVERYTHING! It has great ingredients...it actually looks and smells like human grade food, instead of smashed up junk! There's a 'King' version that's cheaper, but I found it to be really gross to look at. The 'Queen' is more expensive, but definitely worth it!! I would definitely recommend it!! January 28, 2013
Tiki Cat Queen Emma Luau Variety Pack is EXCELLENT My Cat MAXX is a very fussy eater. When he got his first taste of Tikki Cat Queen Emma Luau Variety Pack he scoffed up the entire pack within 2 days.!!! I should have purchased triple amounts-which I will do when I reorder. The variety is excellent and evidently very tasty according to MAXX. I feel perfectly safe giving him this food-it is very healthful. WELL DONE! Thank you for all of your products. December 29, 2012
My Bengal cats are extremely fussy eaters. Tiki Luau variety and Stella & Chewy,s is all they eat. Tiki Luau Variety Pack and Stella & Chewy,s Chick, Chick, Chicken Dinner is all my 2 Bengal cats eat. Bengal cats have notoriously sensitive stomachs and when I got them as kittens, they suffered several month from severe IBS until I finally found the fore mentioned products. Now we have 2 very happy Bengal boys and a very happy cat owner thanks to you and your excellent service. A grateful customer, Heidi May 9, 2013
My Cats Love It! I have tried several moist cat foods (which I use as a "treat" or supplement to dry food), and this one wins hands-down. Both cats gobble it up and lick the paper plates until they are dry. I have had to return and/or give away previous purchases of moist foods that are more pasty in texture. This one has shreds & pieces of chicken/fish, and my cats absolutely love it. January 30, 2014
Delicious Food, Great Price My cat absolutely devours every bite of every flavor in this variety pack with gusto! She's tried several different brands of canned food and hands down, TikiCat is her favorite. There are actually a bunch of brands that she will take all day to finish one can since she's just not into them. These will last about five minutes. I also feel very comfortable giving her TikiCat because I trust the quality ingredients in here. Most flavors are even grain-free, which I prefer for the health of my kitty. And the food looks and smells just like chicken or tuna or crab, something a human would eat. In fact, I've come to the conclusion that if some kind of apocalyptic disaster occurs, I would be comfortable eating thus stuff myself if I had to. For some odd reason, my cat is sensitive to calamari - throws it up every time. So u get the Queen Emma variety pack, which is mostly several different chicken and tuna varieties, nothing with calamari. The King variety pack, if I remember correctly, has a couple that contain calamari. This would be fine with other cats, just not mine. This is a wonderful, high quality, delicious brand that I enthusiastically recommend to everyone! December 26, 2013
Great Taste Exploration! I am switching my cat over to canned and raw food, but doing so slowly. I searched for a fantastic canned cat food and believe Tiki cat could be one of them! =D My cat loves them all, but thanks to getting a variety pack, I have discovered that she may be allergic to shellfish. She repeatedly would throw up any shellfish ones, but other than that is doing great with the others! I don't plan to give her a lot of fish in the future, but on occasion, and this trial pack was great for figuring out which ones she likes best! (Salmon and chicken was tots her favourite!) Also, Chewy shipped fast and the cans came unharmed, which was a big concern of mine for ordering canned food online, because I have read many complaints from Amazon buyers about their canned food from different brands always coming dented and junk. Chewy definitely packed it well padded, almost too padded in a large secure box. Save some money Chewy and use a smaller box! =P December 11, 2013
Good grain free option Our vet advised us to put our cats on a grain free diet and this is the second type we tried. Our girls REALLY enjoy this. November 18, 2013
