Product Description

Vetericyn is a non-toxic and non-irritating, broad-spectrum antimicrobial that in solution kills 99.999% of most singlecell pathogens in 30 seconds, including antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria as well as fungi, viruses and spores. The active ingredient is hypochlorous acid which is generated in activated neutrophils and contributes to the destruction of bacteria. This process is similar to the response given by the pet's immune system. Vetericyn does not contain steroids, antibiotics, alcohols, iodine or tea tree oil, making it safe for a wide range of animals with even the most sensitive systems. Vetericyn is non-toxic and does not harm healthy tissue. The pH of Vetericyn is manufactured in an appropriate physiological range so that it will not sting when applied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! Works on my bulldogs hot spots, and rug burn that my special needs dog gets from dragging around (she just underwent bilateral hip surgery and can't use back legs). I love it stays right where you spray it! April 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by It's like MAGIC This stuff if amazing. I use it on everything. I have used it on my dogs paws, skin rash, hot spots and to clean elbows before cream. On cats for scratches and to wipe the dirt they gets on the tip of the cats ears. I use it on my duck for most wounds and to clean her feet if the are chapped before cream. My daughter was told to used it to clean her geckos tail when it released its tail and was growing a new one. I even use it on my husband that works with sheet metal it prevent infection. This is great stuff for the whole family. March 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product for staph! My dog has had outbreaks of Staph due to allergy flare ups. He was treated by the vet with antibiotics and steroids. I am trying to avoid these harsh treatments by using something preventative. Read a lot about this product online and thrilled to find it at a great price on Chewy. Anytime I see him have an allergy flare up resulting in a staph bump or two I spray twice a day for a couple of days and it takes care of it without have to go back to the vet for any treatments. Chewy has the best prices, and it beats the cost of going to the vet! It's also great to have on hand for any cuts or scratches, as it prevents infections. February 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product My GSD has both food and inhalant allergies. I switched him from Purina HA to Royal Canin hydrolyzed protein food. At the same time I began using Vetericyn HydroGel. The whole time he was on the HA food (2 years) he had recurrent staph infections, and ear infections. They decreased in frequency on the HA but he still required antibiotics and steroids every 8 -10 weeks. Since switching to the Royal Canin, I have also been spraying his groin area nightly with Vetericyn. He has gone 6 months now without a staph infection!!! Because I changed two things at once, I can't be absolutely certain that it is the Vetericyn or the diet change and the Vetericyn that has made such a huge difference. It clearly feels soothing on his skin because when I reach for the bottle he comes to me to be sprayed. If his face starts itching I spray Vetericyn on my hands and rub it into the fur on his face. For his ears I spray a cotton ball with Vetericyn and clean his ears and the itching stops. I wouldn't be without the stuff! It has made a HUGE difference in my dog's quality of life. July 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by works so well and fast I love this product. I prefer the gel because it adheres to the skin well. It really keeps my dogs skin issues under control. He loves to put himself inside bushes when he has to go to the bathroom and not all bushes agree with his skin allergies. So therefore this product rocks. January 31, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by The jury is still out.... fostering a stray cat w/ear mites. he had scratched all fur/skin from lower backs of both ears. Nothing but bloody skin left. Vet found infection so gave antibiotic shot for 1 week, then gave again the next week. He applied revolution, alleged to kill ear mites. two months now, still has mite eggs and infection. Cat keeps scratching scabs off so I taped baby socks on back feet.now applying this to hasten healing process. Purchased both formulas. December 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing!! Would recommend this product to everyone! The hydrogel stays exactley where you apply it. Not runny. My pet shows no discomfort when the product is applied, so it doesnt sting, smell, or discolor the fur. December 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Working well at stopping my dogs from licking their feet. Both my dogs were licking their feet until a friend recommended this product. I was concerned about any product that could harm them; this one does not. Their licking has significantly decreased and I'm very pleased. I highly recommend this. December 23, 2015
