Product Description

Vetericyn is a non-toxic and non-irritating, broad-spectrum antimicrobial that in solution kills 99.999% of most singlecell pathogens in 30 seconds, including antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria as well as fungi, viruses and spores. The active ingredient is hypochlorous acid which is generated in activated neutrophils and contributes to the destruction of bacteria. This process is similar to the response given by the pet's immune system. Vetericyn does not contain steroids, antibiotics, alcohols, iodine or tea tree oil, making it safe for a wide range of animals with even the most sensitive systems. Vetericyn is non-toxic and does not harm healthy tissue. The pH of Vetericyn is manufactured in an appropriate physiological range so that it will not sting when applied.

Customer Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by This is our 2nd bottle of Veterycin. WE never want to run out of Veterycin. This product heals wounds so quickly it's almost magical. Our one cat likes outside more than inside and consequently gets into fights occasionally. Out comes the Veterycin and all bleeding and wounds are healed up within a couple of days. Her fur is so thick we just part the hair, no shaving, and spray the area. We use it on ourselves too on small cuts and they heal up so incredibly fast that there's no need for bandages most of the time. We highly recommend Veterycin. It is a first class product. Rated 5 out of 5 by wonderful find this stuff is fantastic, found out that you can spray it in the animals ears and it kills ear mites, which is an expense when taking the pets to the vet for checkups...around 15.00 per two vet visits would pay for the bottle and it last well over the expiration date it heals up wounds very fast...any problem on a pet it just about does not harm the pet if sprayed in eyes accidently.. I have used it on a cat scratch on my leg and almost healed up in two days.... July 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by HIGHLY recommend My dog had a cut on his ear tip that I have been treating since Christmas time (it's now mid-Feb). It got to the point where the vet was going to have to bandage his ears in place in order for the cut to heal. A week before he was supposed to go in to the vet's, I bought a bottle of Vetericyn and this stuff is magic!!! I soaked a Q-tip in the Vetericyn and wiped his ear 4-5 times a day and the would is no almost completely healed after about a week! I did not spray it on his ear since that tended to cause his to shake, which caused his ear to bleed. Before I used it on my dog, I sprayed it on a cut I had to make sure it wouldn't sting and the cut stopped hurting immediately. I then tried it a few more times and my cut healed in about 3 days! I was a little skeptical about this product before I tried it and now I will never be without a bottle! February 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I couldn't live without Vetericyn in my doggie first aid kit!! Vetericyn is one of the best things to come out in the last several years for dogs!! I keep the spray bottle of the wound spray on hand at all times because of its easy application! I use it in my dogs' ears to prevent yeasty build-up, especially on my dog who has allergy issues; I just found out from my vet that it's great for hot spot treatment too, and it WORKED better than anything I've ever used before!! No more hot spot!! It's amazing stuff! If you've not tried it, you should!! And I've NEVER been able to find it in the 16 oz. size before! I LOVE the bigger size because I have large breed dogs!! And the 16 oz. size through cost me less than the 8 oz. spray bottle did at the local pet supply store, so you can't find a better supplier for it than!! July 12, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic product. My rescue dog is a pit-bull and shar-pei mix. She has highly allergic skin, and seems to get a rash from everything. applying Vetericyn seems to always help. July 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A good product. I hesitated to buy this because of its high price. My dog has been having skin problems due to incontinence (Proin became ineffective). We wash her often, but the urine still has caused her skin to scab, itch & be red. I paid for our vet to come see her, they recommended shampoo etc. Everything they recommended seemed to irritate her skin, except the antibiotic which a family member thought was giving her intestional issues; so we stopped that too. After over $200.00 paid to the vet, I thought I would try this product. It works very well; her skin is noticeably healing. I think the company that makes it is over charging though. I will continue to buy it along with Petzlife shampoo which is very gentle & a very good shampoo for my dogs condition. March 9, 2014
