Rated 5 out of 5 by CMNJ Calmed my anxious cat
Our 12 yr old Tortie has always been high strung but symptoms have worsened since I changed jobs causing me to be away from home longer hours.
She would follow me everywhere when home and cry when I left the room. She then began waking me up multiple times a night
We tried Bach's rescue remedy, Feliway, increasing play time before bed and nothing helped.
In desperation I purchased the chews. I give her one right before I go to bed. Not only does she love them, her crying and neediness when I am home has diminshed, and I am getting full nights sleep again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pauted This has been a great find - recommended by my vet
Both of my cats love the composure chews - they see it as a treat. Our environment has temporarily changed to include a dog which has stressed them to the point of causing a urinary tract syndrome with one of them - a potentially serious condition. The calming chews have helped to decrease their response to the environmental stressors, and the symptoms have been in remission.

Rated 3 out of 5 by catkeypurr Helps A Little
This product is very similar to many others on the market & they all seem to help a little. I have a bully cat that I try to keep as calm as possible to keep the other cats in my home as happy as possible. I use this with a combination of Feliway & have tried some other products as well.
The best thing about the product is that the cats like it so see it as a treat.

My cat loves these. He became stressed out from older cat passing away and peeing in house. Then a new puppy. My cat knows the time of day he should get this product and comes looking for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by meowmix For Nervous Meowies
This is my first week using the Composure bites, but I couldn't be happier with the results already! I've had two resident meowies for the past 3 years and decided a couple of months ago that I'd like to expand my cat family by one. We did a slow introduction at first, as we were bring a male kitten (they're all fixed) into an all female house. Eventually, Jupiter (the kitten) didn't like being all on his lonesome and we decided it was time for some face to face action. Akela was very tolerant of him, only batting him in the face or giving him a warning hiss if his attentions were too much for her. Mowgli on the other hand wanted nothing to do with the energetic Jupiter and eventually took to actively attacking him when she was feeling brave, or hiding for hours.
We tried Feliway diffusers (and still do), which work great for the most part and had our little girl coming out more often and no longer hiding, but she still insisted on being pretty hostile towards the new kitten. It was clear she needed something more, so we tried a calming collar. I don't suggest putting calming collars on an already agitated and nervous cat. Especially if they've never worn a collar before. This experiment led to excessive cleaning and just wasn't for her.
Okay what next? Feliway is great, but expensive and I knew it wasn't going to be something I could budget for in the long run. So I started doing some research and shopping around for other methods of calming down an upsetting situation for our furbaby. That's when I found these chews and figured I'd give them a go. Each cat gets one treat in the morning and one at night. The growling and hissing has greatly diminished. Jupiter's tendency to chase his sister has decreased as well, the treats seem to mellow out his sometimes insane kitten behavior. Mowgli seems so much more comfortable in her house again and even sits by him during feeding time without so much as a peep. Akela just likes treats and doesn't seem too obviously changed, she's always been chill with Jupiter and that's all we really wanted.
We intend to keep using the treats for awhile and hopefully tapering off the Feliway diffusers. It's only week one as I mentioned before, but there's already been a really nice change.

The first couple were a big hit - he loved them. Now he won't even swallow them if he accidentally gets one mixed with some other treats.
Too bad, because he has a strong maniac streak and could use some help.

I have an anxious and paranoid cat, that I adopted. I've been giving her 1 of these treats a day for over a year. She is much calmer and braver and happier now.
