Vet's Best Flea + Tick Spray for Dogs & Cats
This is much better than Vet. chemical products. My other dog got ticks with the vet product. So far this product has been great. Love it

Better than nothing
I have mixed feelings about this product. On the one hand, it's not the over the counter pharmaceutical tick and internal organs of your dog killer, but on the other hand, it doesn't work as well as the aforementioned. That being said, shake it up well and lather plenty into your dogs coat. Do an inspection after each time your dog runs along the deer trail and you should be good to go. Safe for human contact.

This is a nice alternative to all the harsh chemicals normally used! Works well, a little strong smelling after applying to 3 dogs and 2 cats!

Vet's Best is My Cats' Best
I have two Ragdoll indoor cats. We reside in a rural area of northeastern PA and, although the cats have never been outside other than to get into a car, there are many deer and other wild animals about. If someone walks in from the outdoors, it is possible that a flea or tick could get in. Mosquitoes do get into the house from time to time through the screens in the summer. However, neither of my cats have had fleas or ticks. As a precaution, I purchased this product and started using it about a year ago, a short time after their arrival as young kittens (but well after three months). The ingredients are safe, and the aroma is very pleasant. The cats do not mind my rubbing this product into their fur or in getting this brushed into their fur afterwards. In fact, during very warm weather in a hot part of the house, the cats appear to enjoy the wetness of the spray (that is not to say that they like getting sprayed prominently) so I kind of spray it into my hands first unless it is going on their tails and not where they can observe it being sprayed directly at them. I should mention that the cats are bi-color seal and blue respectively so portions of the white fur does become colored in some areas by this product, probably from the clove extract. I also apply the spray to bedding (mine and theirs), furniture, scratching posts and in corners and crevices of the house (there is another product by Vet's Best for the yard which is good for dogs that run around outside but this one suffices for the indoors). I keep a large bottle of this product on each level of my home and use it frequently, especially during the warm months. It is hard to believe that certain harmful non-natural products are recommended and used on pets regularly, especially after having read about the side effects and the harm many of those products can cause. By the reviews that I have read, this product is in fact very effective in killing any undesirables on contact. I love it and I think the cats do too.
